Such a shame the quality of this video is so bad. Would be great to make it available in 720p or 1080p, especially for the text displayed in this video which is currently almost unreadable.
I'm curious about the "Ask" method that is mentioned @ 50:43 . Is this still supported? If not, how does one overcome the problem of needing data from a back end web service immediately rather than using the sync functionality.

Er,, UI quality in smartphone app frameworks is not a differentiator. Ruby+device capabilities+sync is.
