This is a common misconception that was created by Pokeshippers.
@MegePokemonFan Lastly, so what if Ash and Misty fought alot? If anything, that honestly hurts their relationship, as proper relationships shouldn't have TOO much fighting. Even when compairing the Pokemon Anime to other Anime series, the main "couples" in those animes fight on occasion, in contrast to Ash and Misty's constant arguing, and raging against each other. Ash and May HAVE indeed fought verbally, but they always make it up to each other afterwards. It's straight forward, really.

Its high Attack can easily OHKO Jolteon and Electivire, even if it's just double weak to Electric attacks, Electivire gets hampered by Intimidate, so Gyarados can set up and OHKO. Don't forget about its vast movepool. Misty would be proud of her Gyara. Guess what Water-type sucks? Corsola.

@Beagleluver53 May has Blaziken, Dawn has Mamoswine and Misty has Gyarados. All strong Pokémon, but my vote goes to Gyarados. The coolest and strongest. Fact.

@ltsDawn It is still an amazing lead. Its high Attack can easily OHKO Jolteon and Electivire, even if it's just double weak to Electric attacks, Electivire gets hampered by Intimidate, so Gyarados can set up and OHKO. Don't forget about its vast movepool. Misty would be proud of her Gyara. Guess what Water-type sucks? Corsola.

yeh, but misty is an ugly brat. shes a tom boy. she is to old for ash. all these are flaws. may+ash pros. same age, they actually dont ever argue, they get along (unlike SOME!) and misty is not a tomboy or an ugly brat.

no1 does but some girl kisses ash in a party, when may sees it she runs away crying, ash goes and follows her and may said that i wanted that kiss but its not as good as now, it starts raining, ash put his jacket on may and kisses her, and says hows that. so when that happend they went in the middle of the bonfire and cuddled. i forgot the girls name but i will check it again i remember the link in a forum of some1 saying the exact same thing. ash and may kissing in the mistletoe is not real.

ok i found the rest of it, This other girl called Kari kissed him at this party at May's parents house. Then May ran outside crying. Ash saw her and told the girl that he didn't want his first kiss to be with her he wanted May to be the one. Ash runs outside to May and it starts to rain he puts his jacket around her but she gets up and walks inside. Then later on they head off somewhere and Ash tells her he wanted to kiss her not get kissed by Kari. May says that's how I wanted it,
