I've been playing drums for years and I can say that you did a great job, but work on your technique a bit. I went to a worship leading conference back in October and the guy leading the drummer's seminar said that using your arms is like blasphemy :P

@sk8r4lyf101 You clearly aren't a drummer. Drummers are supposed to use their wrists and fingers to hit the skins and cymbals rather then their arms. Using their arms both tires you out and causes you to play WAY to loud. It's not a bad thing to play with volume, but if you're playing so loud that no one else on the platform can hear themselves, then you've gone WAY to far.

@PercussiveSound In his case you just need to learn how to mic properly to isolate all the drums, he uses drumagog, which is a sound replacement module for DAW's. It replaces whatever the mic has picked up with pre-recorded sounds. He's done a great job isolating his snare and toms from the rest of his kit, which is why all the sounds are so clean.

The only advise i could give would be to turn your wrists, and up your mix. If you play with the natural hinge in tyour wrist your very unlikely to get things such as tendonitis and Carpol tunnel Syndrome, sdomething that can end a drumming career. Hold the sticks as thouhg using a knife and fork. In regards to yuo mix, its brilliant, just crank it a bit, you wanna flood out the original so we hear yours :). Great job man.
