we share the same opinion there. I'm not somebody that needs huge amounts of blood, but if the original does have blood it should stay like that, I hate it when they cut scenes out. Was so terrible with naruto here in germany, they didnt just ruin the synchro, they as well cutted almost every litte bloodspot out, horrible. Actually, in the ORIGINAL, Kaga puts a cigarette on the go board. Later on, Shounen Jump (or Viz, I'm not sure which one, but I'm pretty sure it's the former) made them change it because it wasn't suitable for all ages, which is what Hikaru no Go was supposed to be. So they changed it to gum instead.
