  • I came out of the cult "United Pentecostal Church," and its a work base religion!!! I am not judging anyone's salvation "that is for God to decide," but I am contending for the Historical Christian Faith!!! By the Sovereign Grace of God I am out of the UPCI!! We are only saved by the Sovereign Grace of God through His eternal Son Jesus Christ, John 10:11-18, Romans 8:28-39, Ephesians 1:1-11, 2:1-9!!!

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO PREACHER! VERY CLEAR! May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to richly bless you in all things. This is one of the best sermons I've ever heard...you said it all. Anyone who doesn't agree with what you preached, doesn't trust God to save them. This is the reason WHY Jesus said "unless ye become like little children, ye shall in no wise enter the Kingdom of Heaven." WHY?? TRUSTING GOD, BELIEVING GOD, TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD, NOT DOUBTING. Lordship salvationists DON'T TRUST GOD, PEROID!

  • I've got friends who are deceived by the works salvation teacher finalcall07. Finalcall07 never talks about faith in the death, burial and ressurection of Jesus Christ. FinalCall07 never talks about the saving power of the blood. FinalCall07 teaches that Christians don't sin. Just searching YouTube to get some clips to do a video of people proclaiming the real gospel.

    God bless you.

  • We do good works because we are saved, not to get saved. The Atonement of Christs Blood have saved us and it is our duty as Christians put put all our faith in Christ alone and trust Him alone for salvation.

There is a lot of departure from the Truth these days. It would be easy to frustrated and lose sight of what's most important, but Jesus said, "When you see all these things happening, look up for your redemption draws near."

Jesus is coming my friend and soon.

    In Christ, much love, eddie

  • Good video, nothing is more aggrivating to me then those people who try to take away from the glory of Jesus thinking they actually have to add something to what Jesus finished on the cross. In fact any thing that a person does for God out of a beliefe that he or she must work for their slavation is not done because you want to but because you felt you had to. To me this is a form of hypocracy. God wants people to love and worship him because they love him, not for payment.

  • How do you think the Jews from the departure of Egypt were "saved"? It was mor of WORKS than just "faith" I find it alot of times that people who preach this "faith only" dogma are just looking for a way to get out of doing good works. After all the Bible itself says "faith without works is dead"

  • @YeshuaisYahweh1 OK...you self righteous, religious hypocrite. Will you send me a list of your daily good works that you can BOAST ABOUT? Then try taking the challenge on my CHALLENGE VIDEO. Also, I am pretty sure that my "good works" far exceed yours. You are so full of spiritual pride. You make me sick.

  • @sincitypreacher Do you keep Kosher? Do you follow all the 613 commandents? I doubt it. And it sounds to me like you trying to brag about all that "good works" you do. I didnt even say in my comment that I do lots of good works. I just said we are judged by our actions, just like what it says in the bible.

  • @YeshuaisYahweh1 I was "bragging" to hopefully illustrate to you how self righteous that kind of behavior sounds. I still want you to take the CHALLENGE. Then you will see the absurdity of your statements.

  • @YeshuaisYahweh1 read Colossians 2, there is no need for the law.

  • im 17 years old and this is how i see it. Faith alone gets you into heaven. if you have a TRUE faith in jesus christ our lord and savior, i mean truly, you do good works simply because you want to, not because you have to. Saying that works gets us into heaven

is like saying god dying on the cross for our sins wasnt enough. You dont go and help the poor because you have to, you do it cause you want to, and you feel good. This is the same thing.

  • I agree, we are all sinners and don't deserve heaven, But God is so good he sent his son Jesus to Die for all of us. Very true Bro. Luke. God Bless You

  • thank you brother

  • I did a video exposing Finalcall07. "Thy faith hath saved thee." Check it out.

    God bless.

  • Please expose this finalcall07 heretic. I have been blocked by him!

He put up a vid called "faith alone cannot save."

I sent this and was blocked.

"You are a stupid false teacher! Liar. What part of: thy faith a hath saved thee go in peace don't you understand?

John 8:47. He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

You (finalcall07) obviously don't hear God's word. John 11:26. it's clear. Get off Youtube you lying, hellbound heretic.

  • @jacksmack77 Yes Brother, this finalcall07 is well known as a heretic, false prophet, evil doer. Sadly, he is just one of many works salvation heretics. You and I are preaching and teaching the TRUTH against their heresies and I have tried to screen everyone that I sub as a GRACE BELIEVER. So, there are many of us too and the TRUTH prevails.

  • hey can you help me with this alot of NON grace believers try and qoute the LUKEWARM scripture what does christ mean? are there really christians who are lukewarm and are not saved because they dont let christ all the way and do nothing for him help me with this i hav never understood it it doesnt make sense???

  • @cholo123321 Jesus is talking to the Laocicean church which has the characteristic of lukewarm. He says he stands at the door and will come in. This church is not about Jesus since He is kept outside. They are really focused on other things i.e. prosperity, self improvement etc. Jesus is not the focal point.

  • @cholo123321 cont'd...Jesus wants us to be passionate for Him. Hot or cold represents an extreme rather than a lukewarm condition. Spitting out is not losing salvation...it just illustrates that He does not like it.

  • AMEN ..FAITH ALONE BROTHER

  • only by grace through faith - gracegospel . eu

  • As you already know, I love your videos and agree with you wholeheartedly :)

However, the last few days I've been bothered for others who are blind enough to believe that they have to do works to get into heaven.

  • Thank You! Thank You! Thank YOU! God bless you!

  • Nice gumball machine! I remember a lot of those old red ones.

  • Can I ask a question? And I don't mean this in an accusatory way, I'm genuinely asking so I can learn.

If you're saved by declaring Jesus as saviour and not by works, does that mean that you don't need to do any good in the world? Can you just go through life keeping yourself to yourself, not doing anything good (or anything really bad either). If this is the case, doesn't that encourage apathy?

    Thanks! I enjoyed the vid.

  • @AtheistBrit Thanks for asking a very good question. No religious work is required for "salvation" only a sincere heartfelt faith that Jesus is God and He died for all your sins. At the moment you believe this Gospel (good news) God indwells His Holy Spirit into you and you are instantly saved, born again, a child of God and sealed into the Body of Christ forever. (continued)

  • @AtheistBrit Then the Holy Spirit begins transforming you. You can not change yourself but the Spirit changes your desires. Some people change dramatically and quickly. Others change very little if at all. The very reason God created us and offered us salvation and redemption is so that we can mature spiritually and are able to serve Him eternally.

  • I see, so whilst you don't need to do works, the act of accepting Christ makes you *want* to do good works? I know that's an oversimplification but that makes more sense now. Thanks!

  • @AtheistBrit I got save 23 years ago and the Holy Spirit has been changing my desires to conform to God's desires for my life. I still have a lot of growing to do.

  • @AtheistBrit I am just trying to be helpful here but I believe the sincitypreacher did not mention "accepting Christ" or "declaring Christ as savior" in the video or in his responses. Friend, there is a giant world of difference between having a heartfelt faith in the Lord Jesus and simply "accepting" Him. Those who are trying to accept God will always be above God in the sense of the chain of command much like a parent looks down at a child. Those with faith in the Lord look up to Him as God.

  • Your videos are so refreshing. It's so nice to find some videos on Youtube that I can listen to/watch without having to deal with any kind of self-righteous religion. :)

There are only a few grace teachers on this site, and I thank God for all of them. God bless you, brother.

  • Keep up the good work(s)! ;)

  • First, if salvation is granted via faith in god alone regardless of works, then did ancient peoples of non-Israeli cultures and areas become saved via their faith in equivalent, non-Yahweh gods? Having left the reach of the areas in which Abraham's people lived and were first given the guidelines of salvation, they could be saved.

(no more room, I'll send a message instead.)

  • Excellent, rational, and well-spoken video; I wish I saw more arguments presented this way (and could learn to do so myself).

I had to watch your video on low volume, though, and plan to rewatch it later. I didn't see the following things specifically in your video (I may have missed them due to said volume issues), and was wondering what your interpretation was:

  • amen sin city preacher! keep it going! By grace of course :)

  • Most Christian traditions that trace their theologies and doctrines from the Protestant Reformation are known for their convictions that the truths of the Christian faith are found in Sola Scriptura, or Scripture alone, and that we are justified sola fide, or by "faith alone." Ironically, the expression "faith alone" only appears once in the Bible—in James 2:24—where it is rejected as a description of how we are justified.

  • James 2:24 is referring to justifiication in the eyes of man i.e "I will show you my faith by my works". But in God's eyes we are justified by faith alone Romans 4:1-5.

  • "We are not saved by any religious works..."

Where did the bible come from then? Who were the people who WORKED night and day to assemble the bible? You are quoting verses from a men who worked night and day and wrote letters to point people to Jesus. If that is not works then I have no idea what is.

    May God bless you.

  • We are not saved BY doing works...we are saved TO do works.

  • i like what you are saying now you just need to get a king james bible and stick to it. please tell me your not reading from the niv.

  • God spoke to the prophets, and told them what they should right down. It was not the words of the writers that were written, but God's words. These prophets were NOT saved because they wrote down what God had told them IE ''WORKS''.....they were saved THROUGH FAITH ALONE.

    Don't you get it?

Good works are important as a citizen, but they do not make you a citizen of Heaven.

I declare Jesus Christ as Lord.

  • I have yet to find a quote in Scripture where it says "WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH ALONE WITHOUT WORKS".

  • Frank, this entire video is packed with those verses. Maybe you commented without actually watching the video. Anyway, what do you have to say about Romans 4:4,5 "Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation. However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness."

  • awsome work ^_^ .... i totally agree with you....but i have a question can you tell me what matthew 5:19-20 is saying?? it sounds like the works get into heaven.....

  • You are right...that is work for salvation. But when and where does that conversation take place? JESUS is talking to the young man pre-crucifixion. That means it is pre-new testament and in the old covenant, the system of law and works was in place. See the entire series I did on SALVATION THROUGH WORKS IS HERESY for a more detailed answer.

  • thanks so much for clearing that up for me ^_^ ..... keep up the good work ^_^ god bless

  • great work bro :)

  • Thank you Brother.

  • Hi, I am a member of the BODY OF CHRIST. Have you heard of it?

  • Comment removed

  • The "Body of Christ" is not a denomination but it is a Biblical term for the Church as a whole. The Body of Christ is made up of every true believer. As far as my affiliation goes, I am affiliated with organization BIBLE BELIEVER'S USA. I also have a small fellowship of Believers that meet in my home weekly for prayer, worship, fellowship and Bible study. It is a first century concept. Did you know that all churches met in peoples homes until the 2nd century? Bless you in the name of JESUS.

  • Comment removed

  • You are correct and thank you for your comment.

  • Comment removed

  • Amen. That is a concise but complete statement on the relationship of faith and works. Thank you Brother.

  • 5 Stars on this video, anyone that disagrees with this vid is a religious lost pharisee.

  • "religious, lost Pharisee"...that is a perfect description. Thanks.

  • Whenever I determine that someone does not really want to have an honest, intelligent conversation...I won't waste any further time on them. So goodbye and I will allow you to get in the last word which will be an ad hominem followed by a BLOCK from me.

  • 'Preacher', I hope you are not preaching to other people. You along with the other 33,000+ denominations of mislead Bible interpreters, that all believe they have the one Truth, but all have different variations, have been lead astray. Please listen to Youtube 'Debate - Are we saved by faith alone' and you'll surely find the One Truth - found only in the Catholic Church. Look at all Scripture, not just that taken out of context and without considering all of Scripture. In Christ Jesus

  • Did you watch the video? This video quotes dozens of verses that clearly state once we are saved we can not lose salvation. Are you going to ignore all those verses and just throw them away? Until you can explain away all of these verses then I advise you to accept this GOOD NEWS. I will be looking for your answer to the verses cited in this video.

  • Brother, you are twisting the Scriptures to your own destruction. The Bible says faith without works is dead. How will you show your faith without works? John15: "I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me (believers already) and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.

    6

4 Anyone who does not remain in me (were believers) will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned."

  • Wilyam23, what you fail to do is rightly divide the word of truth 2 Tim 2:15--James was writing to the twelve tribes, I have an apostle named Paul and he says I am saved without works, (Eph 2;8 --Titus 3:5)

  • These folks obviously already had faith, but somehow they lost it. How so if all that is required is faith alone? You must have faith and works. Nowhere in the Bible does it say you are saved by faith alone. In fact, the only place is shows up is where is distinctly says that faith apart from works is dead. James 2:26.

  • I am still waiting for you to refute each of the verses in this video. Until you do that you don't deserve any further responses.

  • Amen Bro, SinCity, you rock my man, you keep on preaching the solid truth.

  • Excuse me? You are the one that has not seen the truth mister,

  • The proof is there in all of these categories if you really want the TRUTH. Some people are not aware of the EVIDENCE, other people close their mind to the EVIDENCE and some people like me study and accept the EVIDENCE and become BELIEVERS. If you are SINCERE then watch the videos in my playlist on these various subjects. The EVIDENCE is waiting for you...if you seek with an open mind and heart.

  • Sincitypreacher? Are you one of them guys down on Fremont Street who hold the signs that say "God hates your evil sins" and yell at everyone?

You keep quoting the bible as fact- a 2000 year old book written by nomads in the dessert, rewritten over and over, edited, changed, lost in translation, and historically disproven. But no matter what I say, you have been taught to follow the bible with blind faith, and are not open to intelligent conversation.

  • Hi Rudy,I have not been to Fremont St. for about 2 years but I have preached there in the past. My preaching spot is in front of the Bellagio hotel. I am there most afternoons and in summertime I go there in the evening after sundown. I have studied the Bible for 22 years. I analyzed the evidence from the following perspectives: historical, archaeological, manuscript preservation, scientific and prophetic. (cont'd)

  • You're lost forever.

    Oh well.

  • silly man

you belive in god dont you?

    lol please

    ITS ALL ABOUT EVOLUTION BABY!!!!

how do you explain the dinosaurs?

have you ever SEEN god? or jesus? i aint

can you prove that he is real or just quote words from an old book?

    didnt think so

    pwned naab lol

  • Are you pre-teen?

  • 17 years of age, nearly 18

how old are you mr.relic? maybe over 2000 years of age? at least if you were that old you would be able to say "YEAH, I WAS THERE WHEN THAT MYTHIC SHIZZLE HAPPENED!!!"

lol wake up and smell the coffie old man, its ok to fear death but you are going the same place as all of us

6 foot under nothing more nothing less

  • Just what I thought. Contact me again in 20 years. Maybe then you will have education, experience and maturity. Then we'll talk.

  • even in 1000 years i will not want to talk to your ugly old stupid ass

i am at college studying computer games programming

what are you doing with your life other than wasting it beliving in somthing thats not real?

  • ok, ok, I give up on you. You are lost forever. Have a good life in you fantasy video game world. I will just keep serving the God of the universe, JESUS CHRIST.

  • If you desire any further dialogue with me you must first respond to the questions I posed in my previous comment to you. Don't pretend that QUESTIONS were not even asked of you.

  • Yes, I saw the video. And no, I'm not ignoring the verses you quoted, but am showing verses that say the exact opposite. There's a reason why there are 38,000 sects of Christianity, the Bible isn't as clear as we would like it to be. I'll watch videos 1-32. Also, I didn't say I don't understand the verses I quoted, I was asking you IF I am misunderstanding them. I am not using any particular theology, but a critical analysis of the Bible. Does that answer all of the questions?

  • Yes, thank you. I look forward to future dialogue with you. Specifically on the subject of ETERNAL SECURITY I have a playlist that is very helpful.

  • You have already disobeyed Jesus by making this video. According to Jesus, we should give everything we have away to the poor. You obviously have a web cam and a computer with internet connection, why are you disobeying Jesus by keeping it? If you want to go to heaven, you should of give it all away. God is imaginary.

  • Your comment exposes you as an ignorant fool. It is clear that you don't know much about the Bible and Christianity. Start by watching my video #1 and keep going to #32.

  • "Those of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple" - Jesus

  • This is simplly another fear based argument. "you can be a saint of a person, but if you dont believe like me, you suffer!" These arguements hold less and less water with the increase in knowlege. All religions have very simular scare tactics.

  • Your premise is FLAWED; "you can be a saint of a person". No you can not! Show me one person who has not sinned. No sin is allowed in heaven. Do you get it? Heaven is a SIN FREE ZONE. If you hold onto your sins then you will be excluded from heaven. You will not be allowed to come into heaven with those filthy sins on you. Turn to JESUS for the forgiveness of your sins. JESUS said He is the ONLY WAY you can get into heaven...

  • bla bla bla

  • Right, but it still means that a murderer, rapist, and thief who happens to be a Christian has a better shot of getting into heaven than a kind and virtuous Hindu; after all, being 'saved' comes first and foremost while works are only icing. Worst of all, people can be forgiven of just about anything (as long as they embrace Jesus) except apostasy which is considered the one unforgivable sin. These standards aren't just.

  • So Sincity preacher, are you saying someone can sin as much as they want, as long as they believe Jesus is their savior they go to heaven?

If Adolf Hiter beieved, hes in heaven?

  • I couldnt agree more jadenharrow !!But as u can see these people are just into it to deeply.Watching the video as well as reading the comments made me wonder if i m in the year 2008 or in the dark ages hundreds of years ago...

  • "You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone." James 2:24

  • It is funny how so many of us have done the same research yet we come to different conclusions.

  • Really so you still deny evolution? (which contradicts the bible) How about the process of photosynthesis (which contradicts the creation story)

How about the concept of a "virgin" mary which was done through bad translation errors ?

How about God not being able to overcome Iron Chariots?

How about the Gospels being written 50-15 AD and obviously some just copying others like Mathew and Luke?

How about evil existing and god creating it but yet there is no need for it ?

  • I truly doubt you have studied genetics, history, geology, and theology and compared it unbiased and to the extent to the bible as I have

  • Maybe you should write an autobiography since you are so accomplished at the meager age of 26.

  • Maybe I should, I have had an incredibly unique life, not what anyone would call normal in any severity.

I do see your attempt to insult me and wonder why, although I have noticed many pastors and Christians do the same when faced with facts and evidence contrary to what they are teaching.

So I supposed its your last ditch effort to try to poke fun of me, instead of responding to the actual facts/evidence I presented, which fine.

  • Yes, you are very astute. It was intended as and insult but a very mild one. I am hoping to make you think a little about your arrogance. You are convinced that you are so intelligent and knowledgable, yet it is clear that you don't really have the knowledge needed to make an intelligent decision regarding the most important questions of your life. That is: WHO IS JESUS AND WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH HIM?

  • Funny how all Christians seemingly have DIVINE conversations with the same unchanging being but yet have different perspectives on some serious faith issue related doctrine

  • your comment is proof that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

  • Apparently you did not understand. I was not attempting to prove to the unbelievers that the Bible is true. This message was for believers and I was clarifying what the Bible says about one particular question; are works required for salvation? So since you are an unbeliever, you need to start with video #1 not video #30.

  • Great video thanks for sharing

    Unity for all Humanity

  • Nice presentation brother! God bless.

  • ACIM....."You need do nothing"....

  • True, we are not saved by works but faith alone. However works comes as a result of faith which is what Ephesians chapter 2 says if people will read the next verse.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Jesus went to church on Saturday, how many "Christian's" follow suit? The text says we should walk in the works that Jesus did.

We are saved by grace but judged by works.

  • You are exactly right and very well said. I like to phrase it...we are not saved "BY" doing good deeds, we are saved "TO" do good deeds. Bless you in the name of Jesus.

  • Are you talking about what protestants say the catholic teaching for salvation is about?

  • Read Ephesians 2:8,9,10

  • Yeah but the workd he is talking about here is for those who believe that works done in the name of their own righteousness cannot bring salvation.

Whereas Jesus spoke often of how if your faith does not bear fruit, then even preaching in the name of jesus will not save you. Unless we put our faith to work in a real manner in our lives, we will be considered lukewarm, and repugnant in Jesus' eyes.

The term "works" is banded about too much without proper context, i believe.

  • It is very easy to be misunderstood when explaining the connection of faith and works. It is clear that we are saved by grace through faith not by works...But works do matter. We are not saved BY doing good deeds HOWEVER, we are saved TO do good deeds. Works, fruit, a changed life is the EVIDENCE and RESULT of a TRUE CONVERSION. Hence, no changed life then no true conversion.

  • But this sentence you have used "It is clear that we are saved by grace through faith not by works." This comes across as a mindless protestant rhetoric. No catholic has ever said that works are the functional factor in salvation. Catholics only teach that living a life of "Good Works" is the only way TO the salvation. We MUST produce the good fruit that Jesus spoke about TO inherit the salvation won for us by the death and ressuection of Jesus Christ. Without it your faith is squandered.

  • Obviously you did not watch the video. If you did then you would know that I am not a Roman Catholic and also you would know that the video cites many scriptures to prove the point (saved by faith alone). If you want to try to work your way into heaven, go ahead and try. I will simply TRUST JESUS MY GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR.

  • Jesus says I did not come to remove my Fathers Laws but to add to them.He shed is blood and flesh for the chance for eternal life You are not saved by Gods grace only ,you must follow the laws also. When the Holy Spirit enters your heart your works will begin.God will then use you.

a servant of The Lord Jesus Christ

  • we are not saved "BY" doing good deeds, we are saved "TO" do good deeds.

  • A very good/clear message given. Thank you Luke for sharing. God bless you.

    ~joeXcel~

  • Our Savior Jesus gets all the Glory and we should never BOAST of our work. Bless you Joe.

  • If it would be dependent on (a little of) our works..."by works of the law no man will be justified"...no one would be saved. To quote Spurgeon: It is the will of man that damns, it is will of God that saves. With that said: faith and repentance go hand in hand. They are twins. So even that turning away from sin is the work of the unmerited grace of God in a believer.

  • "Faith without works is dead" It means that while you are saved by God and Christ sacrifice, without the works you have no faith. They go hand in hand you can't have one without the other. This is pointed out over and over in scripture.

  • Did you watch this video? If so, you are throwing away evey scripture that clearly states work is not a requirement to get saved. Don't throw out all those verses that are soooo clear and stand only on "faith without works is dead". Now watch the video and be honest about this. Our works don't save us they are merely evidence of a true conversion. Bless you in the name of Jesus.

  • I did watch it. Sorry I agree with the conversion part that Works is part of the evidence. Sorry wan't fully disagreeing with you but in the end its the Lord who saves.

  • Amen...we trust Jesus entirely.

  • You "James quoters" are funny...James is not speaking to US. Read CAREFULLY now...

Jas 1:1 "James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, TO the TWELVES TRIBES which are scattered abroad"

You are not part of the twelve tribes. Jesus COMMANDED James and the other disciples to preach ONLY to the lost sheep of Israel.

Mat 10:5-6 "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and COMMMANDED them, saying, Go NOT into the way of the GENTILES...But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel"

  • SO your jumping from James to Mat to try and disprove what I just said? NO offence but I am still waiting for you to fully expalin what you mean because honestly I am not following.

  • I wasn't jumping, I was showing you that James is not speaking to the Gentiles. He is speaking only the lost sheep of Israel/the twelve tribes -just as Christ commanded him to.

  • What about us Gentiles then seeing how only Israelites are going to be saved? See Revelation 7.

Israel in the New Testament is the church, those who belong to and believe in Jesus Christ,(Gal. 3:29). The Gentiles(the wild branch) were gafted into the tree. The literal Jews(the natural branch) was cut off and thrown to the ground. Now a Jew(of the flesh) can only be saved by believing in Jesus Christ(they can be gafted back into the tree).

  • And that is what they did until Stephen was stoned, then the Gospel went to the then known whole world.

Why only to the house of Israel to begin with? Because the probation to the house of Israel still had about 7 years to go.

  • Amen to that!
