@quizex it all depends how it's driven, if it's been serviced on time and correctly, if your having oil leaks it's obvious your seals aren't being changed out when they should be, a seal is a seal, whether it's german, chinese, american whatever overtime it will always spring leaks. i have an 09 audi and although i only have 30,000 km's it's been absolutly flawless in everyway, still drives like it's new. German car or no car for me. the elegance and beauty of them is worth the extra moolah.

Build quality? C'on Leno let's be honest how many miles are you putting on your cars in average? 100? I've been a big German car fanatic till mid 2000s and had always 2-3 cars in household - wife's mine and weekend, last one 2003 sl55 AMG. I just don't want to waste time and space here to disclose how many electronic problems and oil leaks it had!!! Same this for BMW and Audi. European cars are still best looking, but poorly made! I choose reliability over appearance!

@WoozyReaper AMG package only gives you a aero kit and rims. No actual performance increase. The SL500 comes with a 300 HP/330 lb Tq 5.0 V8. Half the power you see in the 65.
