I often wonder why movies don't use slow motion to emphasize the spectacular any more. Back in they day every wacky car stunt and explosion was in slo-mo. Not any more...;-)
i remember watching this on VHS as a kid. the ranks of the good guys were infiltrated by a cyborg if i recall correctly. damn, maybe i shoulda put spoiler tags around that! sorry if i ruined it for anyone who hasn't yet watched this :(
I loved this. Probably not top-tier Castellari (KEOMA/STREET LAW/THE BIG RACKET/HEROIN BUSTERS are all better) but it's definitely solid stuff. How could someone call this inept and let modern mainstream garbage like 30 DAYS OF NIGHT and SAW IV slide by unnoticed? This is way more intelligent, well-made, and interesting than THOSE movies.
Saw this at the local fleapit back in 83 i think and from that point on it became the benchmark for bad movies, 24 years on i still havent seen a more inept film.

The hero gets totally filled in and nearly killed early on. But comes back with that bow and arrow gear.
