I've a split opinion on this - it looks great, but as someone who grew up with Sonic, I can't help but think it's too hard to see in this modern iteration. Hey, it's a demo, and I'll keep an open mind until the final version comes out :)

fingers crossed sega throws in some DLC levels that didnt quite make it. i wana see, marble zone, scrap brain zone, chemical plant , hydrocity zone, sandopolis zone, lava reef n im all good. stardust speedway, wacky workbench... they should just make all old school sonics like this. how about mickey mouse castle of illusions like this . streets of rage, shinobi.. oh my...

Yes, data for it is supported by the code that Sonic Retro uncovered upon the release of this demo, but that doesn't mean Sega and SonicTeam will choose to release the demo that the programming references. Don't speak about things that aren't completely confirmed - you get peoples' hopes up for nothing (possibly) and sound like a troll.
