@dragszes Seriously, I did. From 3 to 16 years of age. Primary and secondary education, both in Catholic schools. I think that parents should teach their kids about such things. And governments usually start to teach sex because of societal trends such as teen pregnancies, STD rates and such, not because parents aren't capable of teaching it but because they don't. Mine never did, nor did any of my friends parents teach them. We had 'sex education' in school
Respond to this video... where we learned anatomy, the mechanics of sex, safe sex and childbirth. We weren't given much detail about when you should have sex or relationships and so on. As far as I am aware, the only 'gay agenda' being suggested is that people should be told that being gay is not something you should be ashamed of or hate someone for. The rest of it, such as safe sex, feeling ready and so on, I don't see why that is a bad thing to teach people.

The theory of gravity. It's called that because no one has ever seen it but all the studies, data and evidence concurs with what the theory of gravity states. @dragszes Genital mutilation shouldn't be taught in a sex ed class, no, but if it is relevant in history and religious education then yeah. Also, I agree that grade 3 (9 years old, yes?) shouldn't be taught sex ed but 14 year olds should and a big part of that should be tolerance towards other sexualities. Again, schools shouldn't be the one teaching it but the majority of parents don't, so where should they get their advice from?

And I have said many times that parents should teach it, but they don't and the consequences affect society so it should be taught. I assume that you think that if a parent doesn't teach their children about sex then tough shit for that child? Schools should also teach evolution and definitely not creationism. They should teach religious education but only as a historical subject and show the damage it has done. The theory of gravity. It's called that because no one has ever seen it but all the studies, data and evidence concurs with what the theory of gravity states.
