As soon as I heard this video I said to myself that vocalist looks and sounds like Eric Martin, so I went to wiki and sure enough it is him. I remember Eric making the Bay Area music scene in the late 70's and we all appreciated what a gifted voice he had, but lamented the fact he was unable to find the right band. Mr Big sure sounds like a good fit, and I would like to catch this act in concert.

You have to write good music first. Notice how you don't hear DP playing Mr. Big songs, it's the other way around, for a reason. Oh, and by the way, Blackmore's solo blow's Gilbert's away musically. And I like Gilbert.
