@thatcoolmovieshow Yeah, definitely. The CC01 is a great little chassis. Can be super scale, or can be made surprisingly capable.

@lr2k where did you get your body? i have been looking everywhere for it! i have a CC-01 accept i havent had the chance to use it because i havent got all the parts because my lipo ans speed control blew up.

@thatcoolmovieshow it is the Rastar body... you can usually find them on ebay. make sure to get the 1/10th scale one as there are 1/14th, and also 1/6th scale ones out there.

There is a 1/10th by New Bright, but it is a little smaller and not as scale in appearance as the Rastar one.

I am very impressed. The other Landie doesn't look nearly as scale as the silver one. I'm trying to decide if i want a CC01 or an SCX10. I've seen some handsome mods for both tho the CC01 looks way more scale. thing is the SCX10 can handle terrain better. Its a tough call.

get the scx10.. u can make it look scale too, and it performs way better than cc01. look at my vids to see how scale mine looks :)

They are both great trucks, just different. Of course the scx is more capable, but that doesn't necessarily make it more fun. I love every one of my CC01's. Get a Wrangler before they disappear... again!!!

it is the cc01, yes. This one started life as a Touareg, but it's the same chassis.

I guess you could.. space is quite tight in the CC01 chassis though... you would probably have to cut the chassis a bit to get a bigger motor to fit!

is the tourag cc01 chassis longer than the pajero cc01 chassis? or would this body fit over the wheels on a pejero chassis as good as this one?

The CC01 chassis has 2 mounting points for the rear links. So you just need a longer drive shaft to alter the wheelbase. It is easy to mod the Tamiya one, or Traxxas shafts are cheap and easy to mod to any length too.

This body is the Rastar one, the New Bright one is slightly smaller and doesn't look as realistic.

I did some poking around and found out that TekToys also makes a silver or red Lr3 body in 1:10. I haven't been able to find any Rastar ones.

I bought a Tamiya Touareg from eBay for £80, sold the box, body, decals and wheels for £35, the body cost me £20 on eBay... and the wheels & tyres I had from a previous build.. so all in for £65.

That's a Tamiya CC01 chassis, they just re-released it as the Pajero Metal Top Wide, retails in the UK for about £120.

The body is a LR3 from ebay, but it's not the New Bright one.. it's a bit bigger and more realistic... sadly it is now sold!!
