Been to this night market, it was great. I don't eat scorpions but I had some fantastic food there... millet wraps with tree ear mushrooms inside, fresh-fried taro chips with garlic sauce, wonderful soup, etc.

in that street market, both the people serving and eating are not beijingers. starfish? hell no. beijing is not even a coastal city. i lived in bejing for years, never once had i seen the locals eating those staff. food here in scotland taste really dull :( my taste spuds miss beijing so much!
