this part in the movie still takes me back to when I first watched this movie and how beautiful the prairie and the wolves were in the movie. I have this whole soundtrack on cd and I play it when I want to chill out and think of something beautiful. I know all the parts in the movie where the music is playing and this is my fav bit with the wolves and the grasses on the prairie. Thank you to Kevin Costner and the Sioux nation for sharing this movie with us all.

Stupid evil "human beings" "entertaining" themselves... Two Socks was John's friend, so he wouldn't leave him, since he felt John's in trouble. A much more powerful friendship grew up between a man and a wolf, than between the human beings. It's underlined the true friendship of the wolf opposed to the bad treatment John receives from his own kind... Sad, but so true.

My heart prayed that it was Two Socks but my soul realised that it wasn't! Two Socks died when it was shot by the soldiers! The wolf in the end to me was NATURE crying or howling it's sadness!
