that rabbit deserved to live, his honor was demonstrated, by his ability, when i was a kid we used to hunt rabbits, when one would run from cover we would whistel like a hawk, the rabbit would stand up to see the danger, then we shot, in just two years the rabbits out back learned to ignore the whistel, and just duck for cover, they are very smart creatures!

Falcons are supposed to be extremely efficient when it comes to speed. Any other bird of prey- such as a goshawk or eagle- they wouldn't even come close.

One thing to note however, is that the rabbit's ON THE GROUND and the falcon has to slow down to prevent itself from crashing.

the bunny's strategy will be to get to a hiding place, usually one of its holes, and wait out the falcon. In the video you hear the horn of the car, the falconers do that to scare the bunny away from hiding under the car or getting into one of its holes, to give the falcon more chances to hunt it
