I am sooo obsessed with the idea of them being together, and they could totally pull it off. If Irene died, or just wasn't mentioned because no one cares about her anyway, that would be great. Ryu protects her, and I know Hayate tells him to but even when Hayate comes back Ryu still protects Kasumi and tells her that he believes in her. I always felt like he was using the "Hayate told me to protect you" as an excuse because he likes Kasumi. That could just be because I am a girl and I'm silly.

Why does Hayane need to be sick cos their siblings every1 says incest is wrong yet there's so many fics of it that is liked. Yeah I could see this pairing working out on one side though Ryu seems like he wouldn't show as much outward emotion as Kasumi would. All the love would come from Kasumi and Ryu would be there to consol and protect her if need be.

Of course we know it's a video game. It's not about it being a video game. True gamers, when they get into a game delve deep into the characters they love. DOA is no exception nor is NInja Gaiden, moreso with the XBOX versions of said game. We are all allowed to be obsessedwith what we want. Just because you do not share the same love does not give you room to judge what we love. Stating the obvious like you did...is unnecessary to say the least. =D
