  • Awesome.....

  • I don't like this... I love it!!

  • Respect were it due, V impressed

  • That is the most beautiful looking and sounding Morris I've seen in 20 years+, An amazing piece of work!

  • @3Deity thank you

  • what year is it.. trying to learn more about it..

  • @ThongTo They are all the same, Isigonis designed a utilitarian vehicle. Whatever you do with one, it will need a chassis to support it. It was one of the first monocoque designs made in post war austerity - minimal materials. A Rover V8 drops straight in but will rip out of the weak engine mounts.

  • @ThongTo 1963

  • What sort of v8 is this running?

  • @elcomesh Rover V8

  • I'm thinking of buy a Morris Minor as a project, what's the engine bay like? What kind of V8 would I need to swap? Cheers :)

  • What sort of chassis work did you have to do to handle that extra power?

  • @MegaTregos It had a full chassis made for it with full roll cage as well, cheers james

  • @ruairi50 you have a funny way of advertising your ware's. I expect you'd have to make the moulds

  • Comment removed

  • @ruairi50 I don't need anyone to tell me what CF is, it's on the car on top of the fibre glass as I said, I used people who know about composites(not twats) and know it's REAL.

  • Comment removed

  • @ruairi50 NOS is generally for original parts in metal, yes you can get moulds for some panels, but I promise you, you won't find a morris bonnet mould without swage lines because they didn't mak'em that way. believe me I know.

  • sounds a weeeeee bit fast for a V8 and it does not seem to be that cold outside due to no condensing on exhaust.

  • its wicked

  • for moris thats looks seriously slick. them wheels suit it and liking the carbob fibre hoods

  • i am too going to do this to my minor

is their a book which shows you how to do da transformation

    or any thing

    please help

  • No book as such but plenty of info on the net, good luck

  • Not so Minor any more XD

  • That sounds amazing. great job

  • hi there...nice car. umm where did you get the carbon fiber truck and hood and how much did they cost you? thanks :)

  • The Carbon fibre parts were one off's they cost alot!

  • Saw your car in PPC/Retro Cars (I forget), luv it how you blend modern modifying (Carbon fibre n big weels). just got a split window Moggy n planning 2 put my m8's written off skyline engine in it, but im starting with good old Rover V8, what bhp your Minor putting out???

  • @ruairi50 well done sherlock, there aint' moulds for morris panels so fibre glass first then carbon over the top. so it ain't fake

  • i would like to know what engines is used for this car, i got morris minor which i am planning to modify? can you please let me know which engine is suitable?.

    thanks

  • dude any engine is suitable just depends how much work you are going to put into it to mod the holding brackets etc...

V8's are much harder though due to size of car v6's are more commen

  • stupenda, avrei messo dei cerchi cromati

  • should have put a real v8 in it and not that old Buick 215

  • i dont think carbon fiber trunk and hood are going to matter in weight reduction...especially if that little car has a v8

  • Lovely car sounds really well, well done and thanks for showing.

  • Almost the only comment that's any good.

  • Greetings from Malaysia.

I own a morris traveller and I would love to stick a V8 in it and sit it on 18" wheels. Problem, dont know how to do it. Any pointers or information I can use.

  • Well, offcourse there's the 2 page guide "how to stick 500 extra kilos of engine down your undersize car" , wich wil pretty much teach you everything you need to know in 5 minutes, but other than that i would just stop watching "Pimp my Ride" if i were you... ;)

PUN intended, offcourse im not asuming you don't know anything etc. etc.

    Have a nice day..

  • what a asshole it was a genuine question

  • what an asshole: no it wasn't a legitimate wuestion.
