  • I think having a hall packed with thousands of people singing together and having a great time is what they believe the Cross is for. Just my opinion :)

I'm a raging atheist and will have a great time seeing Justice in two days.

  • WTF

  • Everyone chill. No need to fight about if they are religious or not. Just listen to the electronic symphony.

Btw not to put an opinion out there go watch aCROSS the universe and then see what you think.

  • Lol, theses comments about the cross are really strange for us (i'm French)... i know that in the US there are this kind of band (christian rock or pop...) but this does not exist in France... The cross that use justice is only a logo, a graphic choice (they were designer) but it's nothing to see with religion. It is the same with their name , "Justice" is a universal word that can be understand in many language...

You know, in France religion is not really important, no one go in church !!

  • GOD BLESS FRENCH DJs

  • a cross is actually a roman sign where annoying people where nailed to.

  • just ez as r e s p e c t find out what it means to me do the dance do the dance

  • LOL @ fireblade, "DELICIOUS" ...i love your use of adjectives, and duly noted haha

  • lol wtf is this discussion about religion? half of the worlds population is religious, get used to it. and indeed the cross has nothing to do with it.

does someone by the way know what hardware/software justice is using on stage?

  • @pjetrs They use ableton live

  • @pjetrs Do Believe It's Ableton Live...

as for hardware, they use a MacBook Pro

And Two Jazzmutant Lemurs for input.

  • I give a shit about the fact they're christians or not. Jesus himself would jerk off to this tunes! Justice for life fellas!

  • wow the cross doesn't do anything with religion at all. It's a symbol of unity.......

  • I love the way they get boo'd at 1:33 as they think Justice have stopped playing D.A.N.C.E as the vocals go. Then there are some confused wooing from the crowd as they realise it hasn't ended. Lol.

Great, I love the way Justice perform their songs differently live than on the album, shows their creativity. Another reason to see them live.

  • you obviously dont know alot about dj'ing

  • these guys are christian? i never would have guessed, i guess electro is the only genre in which the music sounds the same if its christian or not

  • @mruddiclus - They ain't Christian apparntly, people just though the cross looked sick when someone drew it for Justice, or so another YouTube commenter said (dunno account name =S)

  • @GindianappolisJones Check out their myspace page, it says they are.

  • @ALMOSTlikeRODNEY - Oh, ok, I'll check it out, thanks.

  • Yeah, I guess they're christian but not in that annoying "JESUS IS AWESOME WOOOH!" way. Like Christian metal and rap.

  • lol @ Controversy?

This is fucking amazing music. Not sure, but I go to the concert for the music being played there, are you telling me that if you didn't believe in God, but loved house music, and saw this, you WOULDNT want to get in there and jump around?

If you don't like Justice simply because they have a cross on their stage, you have a lot bigger issues than finding your version of "good" house music.

You can be athiest. This is still DELICIOUS house music.

  • Bravo baby!

  • I am an atheist and I am IN FUCKING LOVE with Jus†ice! I love the cross symbol its sooo badass!!

  • I am, and it is.

  • @Fireblademorningstar - Agreed. I am athiest and these guys are the best! Religion is free speech as we all have the right to say our beliefs.

    Justice dominate!

  • @Fireblademorningstar

Who fucking gives a shit about anything, it's good music, every religion is a lie, everybody wins...

  • they both play piano and xavier can play drums

  • yeah

  • My dad, whose into r&b, now loves Justice from just listening to D.A.N.C.E. Yaya, for that :D

  • You have a funny way of proving manhood, I thought a penis was proof enough for that ;)

  • As far as I know, with Daft Punk, Thomas Bang-Halter and Manuel de Homme played bass and guitar in a band. I haven't heard anything about Justice, but you can't mix songs without have a musical ear. One still has to mesh chords together and often choose complex rhythms that have been layered on top of each other. Maybe music is their instrument. Even if they never play an instrument live in concert though it's still freaking good music.

  • WTF. They do? Go back to listening to Vanessa Carlton.

  • lol christian

  • ooh cool they did the boys noize remix

  • The question is, why would they use a cross when they KNOW people are going to ask them what their religious beliefs are?

  • I believe that Prince said it best... "Controversy" ;)

  • it does say on their myspace profile as christian....

  • Yeah, they're not christian. They say this in like a billion interviews.

  • What exactly do electronic bands do in live concerts?

  • It all depends on the band. Some use Abelton live... some just hit play on a Dat machine or a computer... some play live elements over the top of a recorded track... some actually hook up loads of gear and "jam" the tune...

  • @Korttimies They get the crowd going wild. if they are as good as these :p. Try looking at Daft Punk, or Deadmau5. equally awesome live show

  • They are not a Christian duo LOL

Just because they have a cross as their symbol doesn't mean they're Christian.

  • make it right

  • the french band are the best in playing electro, VIVE LA FRANCE . !!!!

  • Ecrit en francais mec ce sera plus simple

  • the beginning is the boyz noize remix of phantom pt 2...

  • †i†s

  • ca dechire 4:25

  • they are not christian they are pure badass

  • ive never seen them play the boys noize remix live, only the soulwax, still sick nonetheless...

  • jus†ice

  • it dusnt matter wat they r they r gud at wat they do n their musics the best so it dusnt really mater cuz i can dance to this if they wer christian or athiest or watevr they wana be :)

  • I don't care if what they belive in, if they make good music, it's all good.

  • word to that

  • †

  • †J†U†S†T†I†C†E†

  • †J†U†S†T†I†C†E†

  • I LOVE JUSTICE!!!!!!!

  • sacrileges love, so dirty its fucked.

  • What do u prefer daft punk or justice??

  • JUSTICE!!

  • JUSTICE!

  • JUSTICE!

  • DAFT PUNK! But Justice kicks too, but hey havent been around long enough to compete with DP

  • wow look at all hoes phones goon at the same time haha

  • I ment to say THOES!

  • Comment removed

  • No, they're DJs, meaning they manipulate MP3s of prerecorded tracks live, with perhaps some live synth playing.

  • the cross pwns , its nowt to do with religion , the musics beutiful just enjoy it :P its the greaest music ive eaver heard

  • the cross is just a symbol, like prince's shit, they've said it themselves. Their not Christian or religious when it comes to music. Case closed

  • word up, you know yo' shiet

  • sorry to burst your bubble dumbass, but just go to their myspace and it says christian/club as their genre. not really hard to find...

  • im confused

    their myspace says "christian"?

  • yeah it's totaly bs. if you watch their dvd it totally shows the non christian lifestyle

  • only fun...

  • I understand they use the cross a lot and other references to the bible

but why are they christian electro?

I'm quite atheist and big into Justice as well

I wouldn't to turn anyone off this music because its message disagrees with other religions

this is why I think people should just realize that the mythical stories we've been told are just as made up as all religions they are and all that ever were

magic snakes don't talk, magic men don't live in the clouds; stuff like that just doesnt happen

  • amazing

  • listen to daft punk alive 2007 if you think that they are slow

  • The cross is one of the most ancient human symbols, and is used by many religions, such as Christianity. It is frequently a representation of the division of the world into four elements (Chevalier, 1997) (or cardinal points), or alternately as the union of the concepts of divinity, the vertical line, and the world, the horizontal line (Koch, 1955).

  • Is the cross just a logo or are they promoting christianity?

  • Comment removed

  • No, bud.. They're christian. The band isn't what people fail to realize is that "Christianity" serves better as a noun, than as an adjective.. That's why all these "Christian" bands, sound so mediocre. And in their invisible box.. Like I said, more christians should refrain from calling their bands christian. If they are, then they should potray the example from themselves. Not think that the music itself is going to save somebody.

  • Comment removed

  • interviews show someone else pic the symbol for them and that it has nothing to do with Christianity or being christian.

  • read up on them, its just a symbol to them, has absolutely NOTHING to do with christianity

  • can anybody tell me about that synthesizer that comes in at about 3:35 and jumps around about 3 octaves?, i was wondering cuz sometimes i hear that in other electro songs like Tits & Acid by Simian Mobile Disco

not the synthesizer but that jumping around in octaves

  • what do u want to know?

the riff they use is based on a remix that MSTRKRFT did of DANCE.

  • can some one please tell me or give me a website, something that shows justice preform like really live does anyone know what i mean? or who sang this and when, thanks :)

  • they dont sing or anything they are just djs.. Im not sure if im really answering your question.

  • This is as "LIVE" as JUSTICE gets... I have seen dozens of their shows, and the only difference between their DJ gigs and Live gigs (THEY make a distinction on the flyer) are extra fake Marshall speakers stacks and better lighting at the live gigs. They play other people's remixes at every show... they pre-create their sets in Abelton.

It still is HIGHLY entertaining ;)

  • and the fact they use the jjazz mutant lemur for their live shows and cdj1000 for djing

    :)

  • I bet Justice would love portugal lol

Please drop by ! JusTice up our asses !!

  • Daft punk and justice have thier own types of music, i like both. Stop fighting over the most useless topics. go debate religion or abortion

  • Anyway guys, french electro still rules...

  • Except that's not Daft Punk, that's Justice.

  • that cross represents one thing! GODS

  • justice desttoys Daft Punk any day

  • false

  • and why :O?

  • are you dumb? oranges are so much better and i like both but oranges are like the vatican and apples are like a church :)

  • :O?

  • no, daft punk is good, but slow, repetitive, and sometimes boring. Justice wins any day

  • mmmmmmm you got a point but im in love with both! daft punk and justice but i dont know i like daft punk most i think it is cuz i kknow them for a long time and justice for like a year but dame i love planisphere from justice

  • errr....slow? lol? try to mix 3 songs as fast as they do and them tell me what is slow kay?

  • I love the fact that they incorporate remixes into their sets. A lot of good artist don't do that for their shows.

  • That's commonplace for pretty much any electronica/techno band of any kind. You can't just sit there and play a techno song straight-up. If I wanted to do that I'd hire some French guy to DJ at my house. It doesn't make any sense.

  • That's not what he meant by "remixes". He meant tracks that they had previously remixed the studio versions of, not just their own tracks.

  • BUUUUUUFFFFF

    6 / 5

  • thats nu disco ;)

  • wow thats sick

    they played the mstrkrft remix

  • Im right there Yay!!!!1'

  • who is the girl that sings in d.a.n.c.e.??? I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE and I can't find it out!!! She sounds like she's 12!!

  • well you're both wrong actually.

the singer from simian's vocals are in "we are your friends"

but the vocals from d.a.n.c.e. is from a boys choir!

  • i got told it was gospel

    obv not

  • Well... the gospel according to JUSTICE is my favorite book in the bible ;)

  • this genre is called "french house" like daft punk or Stardust.

  • Nope, It's French Electro, Justice isn't like house in my opinion, they just call it "pop" music

  • nope, it's definately electro.

  • you cannot compare the two. Daft is original and funky. while justice is new, fresh and makes people belive that they are cool for listening to them cause their "underground". they are two types of music two types of sound, style, and sometimes listeners.

  • daft punk were doing this kind of sound 10 years before. I mean justice is `quality` but without daft punks there wouldnt be any justice.

  • IMHO, Justice might have taken a lot of their influence from Daft Punk but their debut album is 100000X better than DP's and honestly, with the potential they've shown, they'll most likely end up being a better (not more influential) group than DP.

  • Um... no. I've yet to see a better overall electronica album than Discovery. And to think most of the sounds they used on that album were samples, its amazing when you think of it. But at least you said it was YOUR opinion...

  • Discovery is the best electronica album ever made, however as I stated, I think Justice will eventually surpass it. Who knows? Let's hope they do surpass it, because that will make for one hell of an album.

  • Discovery was gay, only two or three good songs, Homework was real Daft Punk, that was a masterpiece, but i don't think that you can compare them with justice, the sound is different, way harder, more into rocknroll. Justice was influenced by daft punk, but they do have their own sound..

  • true dat

  • Discovery is one of the best albums ever!

It shows the emotionalish side of Daft Punk. Everyone will agree that Homework is the real Daft Punk but Discovery is not gay, never will be! If you go to a club nowdays, It will be pretty much impossible to not hear a song from Discovery...

How can you say Discovery is gay, and that only 2 or 3 songs were good. Man, The whole fucking thing was good.

    Daft Punk is the #1...

Justice will never beat Daft Punk...

You know it, I know it, everyone does!

  • Amen to that!

  • Listen, you guys vote. Who's better Justice or Daft Punk. Click good comment for Justice and poor comment for Daft Punk.

  • correct

  • Concerts like this, and Daft's are the new RAVE!!!

  • You cant compare them to armin or above and beyond...that is stupid techno/trance shit...this is ELEcctrooo!!! way better than Armin or tiesto or music like that!!

  • if we compared them with somebody like Armin Van Buuren, Daft Punk, Tiesto, Kaskade, Avobe and Beyond, and we compare the shows... i can see that they lack from variety of things... such as the lights... i think they're very important in a prefomance... to get the people up dancing...

  • Very true, the lights really dont change throught this video, but i still think this is a kick ass video and they did a great job with their preformance and mixes

  • Nice sound on the video.

    Justice is amazing!!!

  • if you could see what's behind that cross you would be very disappointed.. in this case Type on web "ableton live"

  • You know nothing....

  • hahaha ok right, maybe i was in the backstage when justice performed in Geneva this summer, what they have there is 2 laptops and a mixer.. tell me now "you know nothing"

  • you know nothing

  • You know nothing...

  • this sounds sick nasty.

  • i loveeeeeeeee Justice there music is pure SICKNESS!!!!!!!!!!

cant wait 2 c them in septembrrrr =]

  • It has to be Prodigy. It was for me. Justice are amazing but The Prodigy have a legacy to be respected and in years to come it will Justice vs Newcomers and their legacy will be respected then!

  • THEY ARE PURE SEX FOR YOU EARS, LIVE!

    saw them in berlin.

best concert i a ever been up to.

  • ok we all know dvno and d.a.n.c.e. but phantom is the shit! and live is fiiiiire!

  • phantom really is the shit...

and btw the d.a.n.c.e remix by MSTRKRFT is so much better than the original one!

  • MSTRKRFT are the boys at remixes like!

  • There is a big difference between mdtrkrft mix and the live version, listen carefully

  • justice en forrrcccccceeeeee

  • I wish I had the synth gear these guys have. Some of the best tones in the genre if you ask me.

  • i so want to go to a daft punk or justice show one day top of my list to do things also see my chemical romance

  • dont bother with mcr, if you have to travel to the arctic circle to see daft punk id recommend doing so, changed my life

  • i want to go to see daft punk so badly that i will do the same as tragamin06

  • actually i've been to quite a bit of concerts...MCR isnt really a favorite but they put on one of the best shows, real croud pleasers. I still need to see Daft Punk though

  • great. i always prefer the boys noise mix of phantom II to their own.

  • You did say that but I was just offering a possible soloution to your issue. Shame to miss out on gigs if you like live music.

  • Maybe try some anger management for that.
