  • Even I as a non-christian found Thunderf00t's interpretation of the verse to be rather farfetched. However, I wouldn't say that WBC humiliated him over that verse because unlike you, they didn't explain why his interpretation was bogus. They just sounded like ignorant, resentful fundies.

Also, I thought maybe Thunderfoot was trying to make a point, that we can interpret whatever we want out of scripture and essentially instill the bible with our own doctrines and call it the holy word of God.

  • Fuck you! She didn't win shit! She was just telling him to "shut up" the whole time. He couldn't get a word in. Fucking CUUUUN T

  • @FeralMonkeyShines

You might want to go and see a therapist about your anger issues. You'll give yourself high blood pressure by getting all worked up like that. Do you have anything to say in response to the arguments I put forth? Did you listen to anything said or was reading the title as far as you got?

  • You're kidding me right? They didn't humiliate him they wouldn't let him speak because they were to busy talking shit about him and his family! That old bat made herself look like a brat.

  • @AutumnXEmber

That's right. Just ignore everything I said in the video and everything I said in the annotations as well. Let's not let little things like facts get in the way and confuse things. Rational free thinkers like you don't need them.

  • @ukchristian28 Free thinkers don't need facts? Christians are the people who blindly follow everything a book says who was written by who knows and talk to an imaginary friend to help because they can't do things for themselves.

  • @AutumnXEmber

You clearly don't need them since you just ignored everything I said. The fact that you are parroting the same stupid ignorant rhetoric that just about every other fundy atheist spouts also suggests you are not very well versed when it comes to learning the facts nor are you overly free thinking. The Bible is not a single book genius. It's a collection of writings of different genres spanning some 1500 years. Maybe you could educate yourself spouting off.

  • @AutumnXEmber

Could you stop with the graceless sterotyping as well? I don't believe in God because I can't do things for myself and that's also not true of the vast majority of Christians I know. Get an education in biblical studies and Christian theology before spouting off anymore and just stop with the ignorant bigotry as well.

  • erm if tf was looking for a serious discussion he wouldn't have gone to the wbc

  • idiot.

  • @mtzgrz

    Great refutuation.

  • @ukchristian28 what is there to refute? your video is analogous to you holding up a sign that says "i am a giant moron".

  • @mtzgrz

So, what was wrong with the points I made in response to what Thunderf00t argued?

  • Thanks for posting this video! It never ceases to amaze me how foolish and debased these YouTube atheist are. I laughed so hard!

  • god is a myth the buybull is a fairytale.

  • @billbo1154

You poor little person. You can't even spell Bible properly.

  • @ukchristian28 i spelled it buybull becouse it is full of bull.

  • @billbo1154

Thank you for revealing to everyone the level of your maturity. Of course I suspect that your knowledge and understanding of the Bible is somewhat limited which means you wouldn't be in a position to assess it, but please do tell. What makes you say it is "full of bull"?

  • @billbo1154

you poor little person you can't even spell "because" properly.

  • @billbo1154 I know you're pissed at this moron, but is that really a reason to denounce an entire faith as childish. I don't praise this video or the WBC, and I understand how you can be disgusted by such things, but please try to consider other people in what you say. Debate, but never deny.

  • @helljumper7

Would you mind telling me why anyone should be pissed at me and why you think I'm a moron? Am I in error about any of the things I have said in this video?

  • @ukchristian28 You are being closed minded and to even consider taking the WBCs side on any level is a betrayal against christianity.

  • @helljumper7

How am I being closed minded? Also, truth is to be embraced no matter who is uttering it. Something doesn't become untrue just because the people expressing it are horrible people.

  • @ukchristian28 Then shouldn't you embrace what thunderfoot is saying?

  • @helljumper7

Not if he's talking rubbish which is what he was doing when he made that argument about Luke 17:34. I also believe I explained why he was talking rubbish.

  • @ukchristian28 One mans trash is another mans treasure.

  • @helljumper7

Well, there's not really much I can to that except to point out that it's the same kind of silly answer Westboro and other fundies give when they don't have a proper answer.

  • @ukchristian28 Look, put simply just for you, everyone is allowed their own opinion. I just happen to think yours is dumb, deal with it. People think my beliefs are dumb, I just don't care because it isn't going to stop me believing it.

  • @helljumper7

Why do people even bother commenting if they are not going to have a proper dialogue? For some reason people like this really irritate me. Call me a moron if you want to. Tell me my beliefs are irrational and stupid if you like. Go right ahead, but at least explain why you think so! It's just a waste of time otherwise. Unless you have something worthwhile to say, don't bother commenting anymore.

  • @ukchristian28 They're irrational because you completely shun out and deny someone else. Debate but never deny.

  • @helljumper7

You really are not making any sense. Thunderf00t said something And I explained why I thought he was wrong. If you don't agree, explain what was wrong with the facts I presented and the arguments I put forth. If you can't do that then kindly go away and whine at someone else.

  • This video/Westboro: 133 likes, 1,251 dislikes | | Angry, vague

    Thunderf00t's video/Thunderf00t: 6,627 likes, 236 dislikes | | Calm, polite, patient

Proof that the respectful and analytical thinking has more strength.

  • @TheFrozenthia

You clearly didn't listen to the video because if you had you would know that I don't support Westboro generally. This video concerns the stupid argument Thunderf00t made regarding Luke 17:34. How about you deal with what I said? Or perhaps you're not all that into analytical thinking afterall. In fact I don't see how you can be if you think the ratings on a video indicate anything other than that people will support Thunderf00t no matter how stupid he gets.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheFrozenthia

Verses like Luke 17:34 are only "vague" to ignorant people like yourself. And no, Thunderf00t doesn't do any research when it comes to the Bible. He didn't even know that Abraham Lincoln was quoting Jesus in Matthew 12:25 when he spoke of a house divided not being able to stand. His ignorance of the Bible is simply embarrassing. He even admitted he didn't research Luke 17.

  • @ukchristian28 The reason I don't disagree with him is because passages in the Bible are intentionally vague. I don't believe he's "stupid", and he does a lot of research and his videos are very well thought-out. I am OK with his criticism because it's vague. I agree with you about taking culture into account, but he's not suddenly less intelligent for being critical of a vague passage, that could be taken in a thousand different ways. The theistic perception is not automatically the right one.

  • @TheFrozenthia

Like I said, it's only vague if you don't take the time to study the historical and cultural background. Once you have done that it's not vague at all. Thunderf00t is a hypocrite also. If someone did this little research on a subject he is knowledgeable about, like evolution for example, he'd blast them good and proper for their ignorance and arrogance in opening their mouth about thing they don't understand.

  • Thunderfoot wasn't humiliated, he humiliated them, they're just too dumb to realize it...and too scared.

  • I did watch the video. I saw each time thunderf00t tried to open his mouth he was interrupted and told to shut up mid sentence and when the they spoke they kept saying "I am not done, shut up, shut up."

  • @SexyMikeyB

Yes, they were hypocritical and stupid in the interview. I am not denying that and this video is not meant to be a defence of them generally. It is a reponse to the stupid argument Thunderf00t made at the end.

  • Based off of the way thuderfoot presented himself in the facts he gave, I'm not surprised Westbro Baptist reacted that way. It was pretty funny to watch.

  • Westboro Baptist Church is a cult that teaches pure hatred.

They're so terrified of being affected with truth that they never shut the fuck up long enough to hear anything, much less consider any viewpoint that doesn't originate from within their colon.

Fuck them, fuck their bible, fuck their church, fuck their god.

  • @k7leetha

What makes you think that God would be pleased with them?

  • @ukchristian28 I didn't say anything about whether or not a myth would reflect human feelings about the Phelps idiots.

  • @k7leetha

You said "fuck their God" which implies that you believed the Christian God would approve of what they.

  • @ukchristian28 Ah, I understand now, but not necessarily. I'm not a fan of the christian god, quite to the contrary I am against the biblical god and consequently through vicarious theist beliefs, the bible as well.

I think the biblical god is one of the most hideous examples of good values that can be read about in ancient literature; The Greek and Roman gods at least had a multitude and intricate back-stories to weave from a human concept. The biblical god lacks all of that.

  • @ukchristian28 so if I say "fuck their unicorns" that implies that I believe in unicorns right? NOPE.

  • The dislikes says everything....

  • @INMATE2468

It says that there are a lot of Thunderf00t drones who lack critical thought. That's all it proves.

  • You have a really annoying voice.

  • @TheJo4and thats your best insult? I think that just goes to show who has the superior argument.

  • @MrEnlighteneddespot I was just being funny. And that has nothig to do with argument. If you think it has anything to do with that, your just a donkeyfucking pizzafaced snotnose.

  • @TheJo4an

Unless the next comment you make is to do with the content of the video (i.e. the arguments put forth) I am blocking you. I don't allow trolls on my channel. Your first comment was also very unoriginal and immature and your comment to MrEnlighteneddespot was even more so. How old are you? 10?

  • @TheJo4an You were taking a callous swipe at a man whom you do not even know. There is no merit in doing such a thing. As for it having anything to do with an 'argument', I doubt you even know the correct definition of such a term.

  • The word "men" was inserted in the KJV because the adjective δύο (duo) is masculine plural. In Koine Greek, a group of people consisting of at least one man is expressed in the masculine plural. Therefore, this verse does not indicate the gender of the second person. I hope this helps clarify.

  • @gashyna

That's interesting. Could you cite the source where you got that information from though please? I am also unclear about the reference to the two people grinding at the mill. I believe the word duo is used there too, but since grinding at the mill was woman's work I don't see how one of both of them could be male. If you wouldn't mind clarifying:).

  • @ukchristian28 I need to correct myself. I was using WORDsearch8 Interlinear Bible. Since the masculine and feminine form of δύο look the same, the distinction is made by context. In verse 35, the verb for "grinding" is feminine plural. In verse 34, the verb could be either masculine or feminine so we look at the definite article for "the one" and "the other". Both of these are masculine, so it would have to be two men.

  • If you hate something then maybe you shouldn't promote it in your title...

"Christians look like evil monsters thanks to Hitler and the 3rd Reich!"

  • god doesn't exist.

I know. your mind is blown

  • Comment removed

  • Why the hell am i subbed to you? You are moron.

  • @MrCherubhair1

Care to explain why you think so? Could you document any errors in this video or any of the others? Or is it that I attacked Thunderf00t and thus committed blasphemy?

  • @ukchristian28 You win, mr almighty christian of the bible.

  • @MrCherubhair1

Nothing intelligent or worthwhile to say then? Ok.

  • She got loud & said JOOOS KILLED THE SON OF GOD! Yeah she totally embarrassed him.

  • @Friedstuffsable

Well done for not listening to a single word I said.

  • @ukchristian28 You are a Christian, so of course you hate Thunderf00t. Well done being a biased prick. She gets loud, refuses to answer questions, & has the reasoning for explaining the existence of her I phone by claiming that god created the scientists/engineers/Inverters of the phone. Most of whom are Atheist, Agnostic, & Buddhists (Such as Steve Jobs) All her answer is... all your answer is, is "GAWD DID IT! GAWD DID IT! GAWD DID IT! I'm Right you're wrong"

  • @Friedstuffsable

Firstly you may be a fundy atheist if you insist on using stupid, childish misspelling for God. Secondly, I don't hate Thunderf00t but I hate his willful ignorance of the Bible and Christian belief as well as his arrogance. Thirdly, "biased pricks" are those who defend someone like him no matter what. Lastly, where I defend of those other things she said? I realise she's really stupid and that she beat TF on that one point just adds to his shame.

  • @ukchristian28 Yeah & he beat her at the I-Phone point. Which goes for all the scientific developments we enjoy in our modern lives including the medical ones that likely have allowed you, or a family member to still be alive. These advancements have allowed us to have our modern lives & to survive things that previously would have killed us. They are creations of men, not some man in the sky who gives a fuck about you... or me as individuals.

  • @Friedstuffsable

No, from what I remember the I-Phone argument was stupid too, (although her answer to it was also stupid). God doesn't encourage laziness so he's not going to hand people things on a plate. Also, how does TF know that giving ancient people modern technology would not have done more harm than good? See this video for an idea of what I mean:

    watch?v=jgKd5rkyNBQ&feature=related

God has blessed man with the ability to learn and create but it can't be rushed.

  • @ukchristian28 Men figured these things out on there own. Believing that there is some entity in another dimension that cares about use as individuals is pretty self important. Sounds like nonsense. That we each get out own case worker that cares what happens to us. I've never seen anything remotely paranormal so why should I believe this?

  • @Friedstuffsable

It's outside of your experience therefore it shouldn't be believed. Great argument. You can't get more closed minded than that.

Why is it self-important to believe that? Giving all of the credit to man without acknowledging the creator who made it all possible seems self-important to me. What bearing does any of that have on whether God or the supernatural is true anyway?

I should also point out though that the Bible doesn't emphasise individualism.

  • @ukchristian28 Christians, & any follower of a God based religion, are always saying; "If I pray god will help me" or "I will pray for you" That seems unreasonable. Each person gets their own voice to explain what they need/want to the almighty? That concept is hard for a rational person to accept. & that "He listens to ---> ME <---" concept by definition, is individualistic.

  • @Friedstuffsable

It's perfectly reasonable and not in the least self-important if God does exist and does care about His people. As Christians we do believe that God listens to individual prayers but it puts more emphasis upon prayer for others and meeting their needs rather than focusing on self. That's what I meant when I said the Bible doesn't emphasise individualism.

You are making an appeal to consequences anyway. How about an actual argument on the topic of the video?

  • @ukchristian28 You want to keep this to the part of the bible about two women grinding? Or the part about two men in the same bed? To be honest, I really don't care what some ancient desert dwelling men, (the Book in discussion here was in fact written by men) think about homosexuality. This is really about whether or not this elaborate fantasy is feasible. I mean, WBC believes in it. I think they just converted me. Give me my "Thank God For I.E.D" sign. Religion does a lot for us

  • @Friedstuffsable

Lol, that's a laugh. Maybe you should look up some information on Luke (he also wrote Acts). He was about as well educated as anyone could be back then. Sling your modern arrogance in the bin. It has no place in a rational discussion.

I don't support Westboro generally. I thought I made that clear in the video. Just about every Christian outside their "church" pretty much condemns them.

  • @ukchristian28 Okay UK. This weekend if you see anyone working on Sunday you better kill him.

  • @Friedstuffsable

We don't live in the Old Covenant theocracy. We live in the Church age where the people of God are spread over the whole globe and are subject to the laws of the nations in which they live. And even in the Old Covenant you couldn't just kill someone without giving them a trial.

I really do recommend that you do some reading on Christian theology before you take on a Christian again. You are making yourself look very ignorant as well as arrogant and bigoted.

  • @Friedstuffsable How about I put you on the front line, near the I.E.D's and let you be a soldier for a day? Your pussy ass would probably shit yourself. Go to hell, pussy. Shit-talking, hateful, bigoted pussy at that.

  • @Bllackguard666 You dumb cunt. Do you really think I was serious about joining WBC? Have you ever heard of sarcasm?

  • @Friedstuffsable I can't hear text, so you guys that say "U kant heer sarkazum" when you have typed it....I can't detect sarcasm in letters. Good job on the name calling...so classic.

  • @Bllackguard666 You called me names too. Know what that makes you? A Hypocrite, worse than a liar, worse than a fool. & also a dumb ass for not getting the obvious sarcasm.

  • @Friedstuffsable I called you names? Where, exactly? Saying that I can't decipher sarcasm in text was my only comment to you. You fail. Don't be mad, bro. I love you bro. :)

  • @Bllackguard666 You said "Pussy" that is a name. Ok Brah? Whatever. I'm done with you.

  • @Friedstuffsable Good. Pussy is what you are if you can talk shit about us military fighting and dying for this country, but don't have the balls to do it yourself. The shoe fits you...wear it.

    Brah.

  • @Bllackguard666 The military fight and die for self serving greedy corrupt politicians that bow to the illegal wants of big banks and corporations. The days of honour and glory in serving in military are long gone. It's a business now "brah". So save your self righteous regurgitated nationalistic propaganda for the next idiot willing to die for ppl who really don't give a shit about them.

  • @The33Strong No, we fight/fought for the country, not the politicians. Just because they may make some sort of profit off of it, whether it be money, publicity, etc. That's not what we fight for, and cannot control where we go. Then again, joining would be the only way to know a group of people, and fully understand. I doubt people who bad mouth the military have the balls to do what we do.

  • @Bllackguard666 In Haig's presence, Kissinger referred pointedly to military men as "dumb, stupid animals to be used" as pawns for foreign policy.

  • @Friedstuffsable Coming from some one with a hidden account.

  • I don't understand why it is important for either sides, christians and Atheists, to mark eachother, to make fun and to drag out in the open for a public beating.

Where is the words of God in that ?

  • @artwork79

"You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean."

"Go tell that fox, 'I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.'"

    Who said those things?

  • I hear Margie Phelps doesn't bathe. Can you imagine the stench? Gross.

  • You know what they say about assume: it makes an ass out of u and me.

  • I'd like to see you sit through a humiliation like that without sounding slightly flustered.

He did not get "completely and utterly destroyed", he just made a somewhat clumsy, flustered attempt at citing a passage that supported his view, while being interrupted, snapped at and insulted.

Frankly, I'm impressed with him. I wouldn't have kept so calm.

  • What the heck do you mean he tried to say Jesus endorses homosexuality. Phelps didn't let the guy finish a sentence throughout the entire video.

  • Excellent destruction of Thunderf00t. No real Christian actually takes that clown seriously on scripture. Too many people have made him look silly.

  • thunderf00t didnt get a single complete question out and all that crazy b*tch did was ramble. thunderf00t wasnot humiliated by any means. epic fail ukcristian28, cuz regular failure wasnt enough

  • What part of England is this twat from? I thought we didn't get this type of idiot over here any more. I'm sighing heavily.

  • @l14mh3nr9

Do you actually have anything worthwhile or intelligent to say? Perhaps you could explain why you think I am an idiot or why I am wrong in anything I have said in this video? Calling people names and sighing heavily really doesn't do much to further the discussion.

  • Isn't Lot the one that screwed his own daughters......Homo bad, incest good eh

  • @Xatasha6611

Are you stupid enough to suppose that the Bible condones everything it reports? BBC News reported on the murder of Stephen Lawrence in 1993. I suppose the BBC are in favour of racist killings.

  • @ukchristian28 Don't be silly. In your bible god gives slavery, racist and sexist laws. He also commands genocide and hate crimes. Also included are fairy tales and errors. The BBC reports news and doesn't issue commands or dam you to hell if you don't watch it. Your bible is written by men to keep a few men in power and has nothing to do with anything divine. BS book is BS

  • @Xatasha6611 Don't be silly. The Bible is also a HISTORICAL DOCUMENT (you know recording history of the Hebrew people) recording the JEWISH LAWS OF THE LAND. And while we're at it lets look at some of those more clearly shall we. Slavery: If you couldn't pay off a debt or did a lesser crime (stealing) you worked for that person til it was paid off, so then I guess if you can't pay your restraunt bill I guess that's slavery according to you, or commitity service is also a form of slavery then...

  • @FamousDave2186 No the bible is not a historical document half the stories are made up. It is like Harry Potter books. Slavery the bible has rules on how to beat your slave and it was brutal and it was fine to rape your slave girls. So please don't try and sugar coat...excuses are excuses. Maybe you would like to sale your daughter to pay for your car? The bible has laws for that. Think about the next time you cannot pay those bills.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: Racist: funny never saw that in there want to be more specific on that? Sexist laws: Are you refering to wives submit to your husbands or the one in deuteronomy? I'll answer both but does help to be more specific on your claims. Wives submit does not mean to obey every command the husband makes (so guys it doesn't mean your wife must do everything you tell them to) it does not mean you allow your husband to verbally or physically abuse you, it doesn't mean he shouldn't treat

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: you with respect. Submission does mean you do not complain about the decisions he makes. If you have a different opinion, you are free to voice it in a loving and calm way. However, if you husband does not agree, you need to leave it be – even if it means he has to learn the hard way!

You are to respect your husband in your daily living. As a Godly wife, you will not nag him, talk down to him, treat him like one of the children, or even make fun of him. That's what...

  • @FamousDave2186 Your god wants Submissive slaves and is a do as I say not as I do god. Again you sound like a sexist pig....the husband has to learn the hard because the woman needs to be submissive......total BS and you know it. All the bible does is play into the male fantasy of being the macho man. Funny how most christians are married more than three times in their life eh? again weak argument trying to defend sexism.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: that means. Now on to Deuteronomy. Some Translation have gotten it wrong. For example the NIV says rape this is a bad translation. According to Biblical scholars and historians the law was if you had sex outside of marriage then you were forced to marry that person regradless if you really loved them or not. For they had become one flesh (that's what sex means in those times) So therefore if this was the case you've poorly misinteripted the Bible. Now on to genocide:

  • @FamousDave2186 Again more excuses and BS. Sex outside of married is Adultery and got both parties stoned to death. Rape was the taking of a girl against her will and she had to yell so loud as for other men to hear or it was adultery. So the rape victim had to marry the rapist or be killed. Again a weak argument and plain as day to see thru. Even today islamics try and get rapists to marry rape victims.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: this would really help if you were more specific in your complaints. Are you refering to the Canaanites? Again historians have confirmed that only the combatants were killed. People that ran away were not killed and if they decided to join Israel they were spared. The Canaanites did horrible things and would have caused a holucast to the Israeli people if they did nothing to them. We have to know our history here. Now you made a claim that the Bible was written by men to keep

  • @FamousDave2186 Stop with the BS here you just proved your bible is BS if historians proved that only the combatants were killed then your god lied. There is nothing that justifies genocide........But but they were going to do it to us. Well one the victors write the history, 2) The Israelites were just as brutal or more so

  • @Xatasha6611 no. It just says to drive them out of the land looks like someones not being honest, and again killing people who want to kill you is not genocide. "Well one the victors write the history" You need to look up how history is properly recorded. A simple search will clearly show. Next comment. Now where in the Bible does any of this state that the catholic church did was ok? Good luck with that one, and for your pastor bob again where does this say that its ok? Man tries to pervert...

  • @FamousDave2186 Genocide is wiping out an entire people and is an evil act. There are no groups of people anywhere in the world that are 100% evil. As for how history is recorded well you need to look up how it is done using one source( the bible) which isn't a good source to boot is a bad way to view history. I understand you really really want to believe the bible but assuming it is true is foolish. This bible of yours is so poorly written that anyone can twist it to their ends.

  • @Xatasha6611 Cont: Any divine being should be questioned for using it as a means to pass his words to follows or even laughed at.

All Christians have to trace the roots of their brand of christianity thru the catholic church. I know you would love to rewrite history and remove that but it is true. Your question where in the bible does it say the catholic church is ok can be said for any brand of christian church none are anything like the christians of 2000 years ago.

  • @Xatasha6611 yeah and did they wipe out an entire culture NO. Only the combantants stay to fight and they lost. Thank you for explaining that one. You claim its a bad source but all you do assume that its false. That's not how history is recorded. You stated nothing when I stated the historal accounts of Jesus I wonder why?

No all christians trace there roots through Jesus Christ. Without Him we wouldn't have Cristianity. Your answer to my question about the catholic church doesn't answer

  • @FamousDave2186 Again god commanded genocide so either god lied or your historians are not correct. If you believe your historians then your bible is false...god doesn't lie right? Jesus did exist but was he divine? None of his miracles are all that amazing and there is little to no evidence of these miracles outside your bible. Besides there were tons of other messiah walking around at the same time. Jesus was more likely a magician on par with Penn and Teller than some divine son of a god.

  • @Xatasha6611 first point No He didn't and you just saying he did doesn't make it true. Genocide would be what Hitler did during the Holucast maybe you should look up examples of the word. "None of his miracles are all that amazing" I guess making the blind to see, raising someone from the dead, curing leperciozy (forgive spelling) when there wasn't a cure for it back then isn't all that great. WHAT? That was a bad comment and think even you'd agree with that..

  • @FamousDave2186 No god did command genocide here are the verses

Deuteronomy 2:33-34, 20:16-17 and here is a link to more

    thevillageatheist.co.uk/genocide.html

Miracles: Blind can see.....Doctors can do this and faith healers can fake it

Raising the dead........CPR anyone and often in ancient times people were declared dead and came back due to lack of knowledge

Curing Lepers again cured by man and super easy to fake.....no one wanted to be around a guy in leper rags so easy to fake.

  • @Xatasha6611 So his so called miracles left behind no evidence and cannot be verified. No different than the phony faith healers of today. Also if you believe this how can you dismiss all the non christian miracles of ancient times? All the religions claimed crap like this.

  • @Xatasha6611 oh yes because thevillageatheist knows how to interpet the bible, no thanks I'll check out someone who really does know about it. Blind people can't be healed by a doctor. A doctor doesn't truly heal the sick he or she just helps the body cure itself. Jesus rose someone from the dead days after the fact they passed on, can CPR do this? I don't think so. People knew who were lepers and weren't. So when someone was healed of this they went to the temple and showed the high prests of

  • @FamousDave2186 You can hide your head in the sand but the verses come from your bible and command genocide. You want me to have an open mind while you refuse to even look at my counters. Was the person Jesus raised really dead? Or just appear dead? Did you know that people use to put bells on graves so that if you were buried alive you could ring the bell to get dug up. How do you know Jesus wasn't doing hoaxes? You wouldn't believe this stuff in modern times without evidence would you?

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: You given me your counters and I've debunk them. You gave me a source as to where you got them. Since I've already taken them down and all you done is said no that's not right and said the exact same thing like you just did in your comment about commanding genocide. "Was the person Jesus raised really dead? Or just appear dead?" The Roman soldiers when they checked to see if someone was dead would perice people's side. Blood came out looking like a water substance so yeah...

  • @FamousDave2186 You haven't debunk anything I have said, you only have made a fool of yourself and were caught lying a number of times. You also have trouble reading I didn't say Jesus faked his death I said the miracles where he "raised" the dead could easily be faked. Jesus raising from the dead could be a hoax his follows did. People of that time believed all kinds of silly stuff and any magician could have conned them.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: and you don't read what I put. I've already told you the history of what the romans did to check if someone was dead or not and they had roman soldiers guarding Jesus's tomb. So how could the diciples steal the body? And the fact since they were eye witnesses of Jesus why would they die for a lie if they knew that Jesus never said any of those things? So again you're not being logical here and acting on pure emotion. Not how you win debates my friend.

  • @FamousDave2186 No, you have shown yourself to not tell the truth and I call you on it. As for your "history" until I see your sources I won't take your word for it. The bible is not a source either since it is full of fairy tales and the gospels don't agree on what was going on at the tomb

    en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Empty_tomb

    Again shooting you down

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: He was dead. "Did you know that people use to put bells on graves so that if you were buried alive you could ring the bell to get dug up." Yes I did know that since I do like history, but if you look at the scriptures you'll see two roman soldiers were guarding the tomb, now I don't care if you agree with this or not but an angel came down, the roman soliders saw the angel and fell right to sleep, the boulder in the cave was moved and Jesus was standing alive. The only way...

  • @FamousDave2186 Again I talk about the bells to let you know that people often appeared to be dead when they were not. I told you that to cast doubt on Jesus raising people from the dead. I was not talking about him coming back from the dead....that is another fairy tale story with no solid evidence to back it.

  • @Xatasha6611 your next comment with the bells only your opinion which I've already explain to you. Just because you state something doesn't make it true. Next comment. People knew what leperices looked like and according to the coustoms of the Jews they would put lepers in isolation, leperice (forgive spelling) takes awhile to make you lose limbs if you ever study any medical books just reading an encylopedia (not wikipedia anyone can edit that info) shows this.

  • @FamousDave2186 Again dear you are being foolish the bells was to let you know that men at that time often buried people alive since they had limited medical knowledge. This is used to cast doubt on Jesus's raising the dead stories again you have no evidence other than the bible which is poor source at best. Why would you believe something that has been rewritten and translated many times with no originals and turned into poetic verse by a King as valid evidence?

  • @FamousDave2186 Here is a video of your con artist Dr Craig getting owned by Harris. I am sure you won't watch it but others might

    watch?v=AZg_kW8eHTo&feature=g-vrec&context=G2a06ad9RVAAAAAAAABA

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: the romans and the pharises could do to try to disprove our claims was to dig up His body. They couldn't. Next stating something doesn't make you right. Look up how lepers were treated back then and how the Jewish law was back then a simple search will show this here's one: britannica.c.o.m. do search on cured lepers on there. Jesus when he did heal the leper probably didn't have any missing limbs yet it doesn't say so we don't know. But your point falls back on the fall of..

  • @FamousDave2186 You know the cool thing about a curing a leper? You have no idea what he looked like before becoming a leper. So for a hoax just wrap up any one of your followers in leper clothes and poof miracle......he is cured Jim. Even if like you claim the temple knew all the lepers I highly doubt the common folk did. God doesn't cure missing limbs because he isn't real.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: man. When man first sinned against God death came into this world so it meant diesases and all that stuff. God gave Man a free will to choose to Love and serve Him or not. You use your free will not to. We are not God's pets who gives us everything we want and then we do nothing for Him. He's not like a grandfather. He is our Heavenly Father who loves us and wants whats best for us. He gives us the free will to accpet Him or not, could you freely choose to serve someone who

  • @FamousDave2186 Gods free will. Jesus is a mafia boss holding a gun to your head.

OK see I am giving you free will to do as you like however if you don't(cocks gun) believe in me I'll send ya to hell. Yeah great job on free will there. Diseases: Animals didn't sin why then do they have diseases? If you and your mate are saved and your sin is gone then why are your children born with sin?

So as you can see your religion is BS

  • @Xatasha6611 "Gods free will. Jesus is a mafia boss holding a gun to your head.

OK see I am giving you free will to do as you like however if you don't(cocks gun) believe in me I'll send ya to hell. Yeah great job on free will there." For starters appeal to emotion. Not how you want to debate a point, second ok so you think everyone should go to heaven then? Or do you think some but not all. How would you decided? Heaven is a place where those who love and serve God spend eternity with Him...

  • @FamousDave2186 There is no heaven or hell and say there is a heaven....do you really want to live forever. You would get tired of it over time besides it cannot be all that great since 1/3 of the angels rebelled eh? Great example of a not so perfect god.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: and worship Him. Hell is a place for those who said I don't want to worship you. So instead of forcing you to worship Him, He sends you to where you want to be away from God. C.S.Lewis said it best "there are two types people in this world ones who say to God: Thy will be done, and those that God says: fine have it your way. Animals didn't sin why then do they have diseases? because we rule over them that's why. When a kingdom does something wrong everyone is punish for it.

  • @FamousDave2186 Oh come now. How can you not see that your bible is a bunch of BS. You are born with sin due to something some man and woman did thousands of years ago. This is a control for a community get the people to be afraid of some superpower and then tell them what to do to get to the safe place. Plus how can your god be both just and merciful? To be just you cannot be merciful, to be merciful you have to suspend justice.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: "If you and your mate are saved and your sin is gone then why are your children born with sin?" Because we still sin. Just because God forgives us of our sins when we ask for forgiveness doesn't mean we won't do it again or do some other sin. I don't know where you got this idea from. Again look at what our side says and not what your side says about the Bible.

  • @FamousDave2186 Being baptist is about removing original sin if you and your mate have had the original sin remove then your children shouldn't be punished for it right? Just another foolish belief that can be discarded.

  • @Xatasha6611 and what happened to me getting the last word? Oh maybe you are a bit defensive eh and you feel that your argument is so weak you need the last word. Or maybe you are just lying more

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: forces you to love you? I couldn't. And I don't. Last, your last comment I can say the exact same thing to you, you bashed Dr. Craig without even looking at his arguments. I at least address your points. Like I said eariler you just gave me your source for your information which I've already debunked. You don't beat someone by giving them the same source that was already talked about and destroyed. Yes I was trying to convert you but so were you. If you weren't you wouldn't..

  • @FamousDave2186 oh and I have watch a ton of Dr Craig videos and he is a con artist. His arguments have been countered often and you can look it up if you like. No need to waste more time on his BS

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: have said anything now would you. You can get the last word in if you want to but your points have been debunked, you've showed you don't know history too well, came up with already debunked points to try and argue with the historal accounts of Jesus (history is your friend here), and have given me no reason why I should accpet Atheism. No proof +No evidence= No atheism for me. Good Bye I'll pray for your heart to be open to the words that were expressed here.

  • @FamousDave2186 Again none of my points have been debunk and you have been shown to lie often. I have also backed my points with evidence that you choose not to review. Hence your a close minded delusional, self righteous fool. Again the burden of proof is on the person making the claim of there being a god.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: made a claim that I'm close minded, self righteous fool. How? Again give me an argument that proves that Athiesm is accurate and correct. If I'm such a close minded fool then you must have some proof and evidence towards your worldview otherwise you wouldn't be arguing. Argument from Ignorance is all you're using right here. You've watched his debates huh? Funny even some atheist themselves have admitted that Dr Craig (and oh the person on youtube is not Dr Craig) wins his...

  • @FamousDave2186 Dr Craig isn't peer reviewed unless you are counting christians which is the fox guarding the hen out. Craig is a laughing stock to most non christians. Again he just preys on you weak minded christians to make money.

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: debates. There just not convince he's right. His arguments have been peer reviewed as well as they should be but he's also done numorus rebuttals towards them and I see no reason think Dr. Craigs arguments he uses are wrong. I know I told you I was done. I'm sorry for that. This time I really mean it. Go ahead and say whatever you want I'll let people on here think who's points came across better. Look again with what I've said with an open mind and an open heart.

  • @FamousDave2186 You are far from opened minded you are a delusional christian trying to convert me to your funny religion. You don't listen to counters, you lie and repeat the same BS over and over. See open mind doesn't talking your head off and trying to get others to believe it also means to listen and weight the arguments.

  • @FamousDave2186 Also don't fool yourself the temple had no idea who the lepers were. If you have evidence to counter this then please link it. Plus you haven't address the missing limbs......why doesn't god regrow them?

  • @FamousDave2186 And since you don't want to look at my counters and just trying to convert me I see no point in talking with you any more. Closed mind theist is close minded. You showed your true self righteous, judgmental colors when you dismissed thevilageathist by basing your judgment solely on his name alone.

    Take care

    Take care

  • @Xatasha6611 conti:there time that they were cured. You don't know your history too well do you? Next well of course miralcles don't leave any evidence behind it clearly makes the problem go away. I can claim this because of the historal accounts of Jesus that's why you would have to argue all those points to be inaccurate which you have not done by the way.

  • @FamousDave2186 Again raising dead, curing lepers would be super easy to fake during the time of Jesus. There are examples of hoaxes like this thru out history. What makes you so sure these are real miracles and not fakes. Think about modern miracles has Jesus ever regrown a missing body part?

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: my question. Just stating your opinion doesn't make you right in any way. Next again man's evil heart. It just proves the Bible more reliable. Do you think people understand clearly scientifc discoveries? Don't you think some people want to biasly make something to be right regardless of what the evidence points to if you claim no scientist does this then you are deluded my friend. Next thing if you think we were making this up wouldn't you think we'd make it easier to...

  • @Xatasha6611 conti: to follow? However since we're not its not easy. We all sin and do things against God. That's why He send His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and on the third day Jesus rose again and was alive. 250 people then saw Him rise up to heaven can those people have the exact same hullication at the exact same time and place? I don't know any drug that can do that?

  • @FamousDave2186 Again your raised from the dead story is just a rip off of older religions and I would question if Jesus raised from the dead not much is written on the subject except in the bible. You wouldn't believe something like that if it happen today so why on earth would you believe it happened 2000 years ago with so little evidence?

Mass hallucinations have happened to non religious folk as well. Religious ones happen because people share a common belief.
