This midquel game was not needed. I simply took a shit all over the original trilogy.

Story-wise, it simply ruined all that mystery of the 7 year gap between SOT and WW and the impact it had. We were suppose to think that for 7 years Prince was on a quest to save his life, constantly on the run from the Dahaka. But now we find out he stopped for some side adventures.

And the very concept of the sands of time is misunderstood by the makers of this game. Pitty, they ruined a great franchise.

i think this game has good and bad sides!!

Good side: the graphics, the 4 element magic, it's a one man army game :D, and a lot of new stuf

Bad side: you can't fiht like a real prince(like in the WW), no agility, the final fight too easy and non realistic the "big dude" can just crush you instead of that he summons army he plays with you wtf ist shit, he shoud be smaller and more human!!

Btw, what the hell is up with all these different faces? Especially in the cutscenes... It was acceptable on PS2 because of technological constraints. But now it's just embarrassing.

1 - He never had a brother, from the sands of time till the tird part of game after warrior withing he never realized that he had a brother? lol.

2 - This looks more like dande inferno or God of War than Prince of Persia, for God`s sake this part of Pince`s life got 100 times more fantasy than the second one (Warrior Within) and its soppose that this part of game happends before that Warrior Within.

3 - The most important one, the prince looks so GAY.

Unleash his power? I don't know about anybody else, but what made the first Sands of Time game great was that this ordinary type character(albeit one that is impossibly fit :P). A character everybody can relate to was thrust into an extraordinary situation and the incredible story telling was an effect of seeing him beat the odds and cheat death time and time again. Now he just seems like Superman, who keeps pulling powers out of his ass whenever he's in trouble.

I can control the sands of the time, I have a sword , I am the chosen one to protect the kingdom and also more powerful... I think the fans already know these dialogues from the previous entire series. This prince sounds like a gay.

The new prince in POP 2008 was cool and awesome. Lets hope for the sequel of this game.
