Today is the 14th anniversary of last day of British rule in Hong Kong and I would not think China will give HK up so easily. According to international law and the UN, Britain should not invade HK by force co already a sovereignty terrority.
Smallfishfungwc - I do not think HK people would run into PLA camp cos they are trained to deal with it. Don't forget the PLA have other camps inside China itself and can response very quickly. I do not think HK people are stong enough to kick PLA out.

I think those people want British to control HK again. Wen Jiabao, the Chinese Prime Minister has arrived in Britain today for 3 days summit and will got to a car factory in Birmingham and visit Statford-upon=Avon.
He will also go to Dowing St to have talks with our PM, David Cameron. The talks will be business-like on economic grounds and not about HK. I love my country and Hong Kong, and I have my own views to politics after a long time study from the documents which most from internet. It is the treaty britain will give Hong Kong back to Quing dynasty. From the international law, Mainland China have the right to control Hong Kong again after the talk between two contries.

He said "Sorry to tell you, but I am from Hong Kong and I, along with all of my friends have no wishes to live under the British."

@WaW1993 There would be no chance of Britain going back cos David Cameron said relationship very important with China so he said during President Hu's visit to Britain last year meaning need trades and tourism with the Chinese. That may mean HK is best forgotten by my own Government.
If we were to going back to HK then we will lose money and trades with China for many years to come and that's why Cameron need relationship with China.

If Scots break away, Independences could follows for England and Wales then the UK could be dissolved thus no longer British after about 2020 or 2025. The Chinese could be smiling happily!!!
