  • WHY ARE YOU RAPING THE CAPS LOCK? seriously, why? ain't no need for that. also ain't a need to slam those gears; ya ain't drivin' a race car, bud.

  • It's a kenworth ! More likely year 95-98!

  • man screw these guys that are complaining about grinding and shit. their just jellous they cant speed shift like this. good job man.

  • Those ain't chains it is his tranny about to fall out....see his stick rattling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what is the truck? sounds like you got chains

  • Loving the action bud

  • Well, I do not see anythig nice about this.... he is killing his tranny... I own a 13 and I can go up and down with less anger than this guy... He is not shifting gears, he is slamming gears... sorry but it is what it is.

  • @verdnige 110% agreed.

  • way to grind gears. really nice job... NOT

  • THANKS FOR THE COMP

  • @donnchadhomordha its a bit tricky on a maxi torque but with practice u done

  • the way you drive its crazy men and cool

  • AS I SEE IT IT'S GOING TO GET WEAR NO MATTER BUT IF PRE SELECT YOU WILL STILL WEAR OUT FORK. THANKS FOR THE COMMENT.

  • just a question mate, not a criticism, do you find you have premature wear on your gears from moving the splitter into direct from od whilst in neutral?

  • @freightliner450 AT THAT TIME I THINK IT WAS ABOUT 25 TONS OF SELECT FILL.

  • nice job shifting and down shifting...can't go wrong with a 13spd....plenty of gearing for the job...again nice job.

  • @MrBorn1969 THANKS FOR THE COMP!

  • Very nice video. Great angle. Where are you driving though, usually, the speed limit is 60 MPH & you're at 70+. Just curious!!!

  • @couragio235 YEA IT IS USUALLY 60MPH BUT IN SOME SPOTS YOU CAN GO FASTER UNDITECTED. I USUALLY DON'T GO PAST THE SPEED LIMIT. THANKS FOR THE COMP!

  • @GEEZROD Nice ink!

  • @cdndave09 THANKS FOR THE COMP, DID IT 10 YEARS AGO.

  • Damn! You're good. how long you been driving?

  • @etivac4life76 BEEN DRIVING ABOUT 5 YEARS, BUT I DON'T DRIVE LIKE THIS EVERYTIME. IT WAS JUST FOR THIS VIDEO.

  • NO I DON'T, JUST DID IT FOR THE VIDEO SHOWING THAT IT CAN BE DONE UNDER SUDDEN SURCUMSTANCES.

  • I am surprised that you split every gear on the way down. I have always been told to down shift two gears at a time. On lighter loads do you still use every gear?

  • cool vid.

  • is that a Cummins?

  • dude that's sweet love this vid it really shows what u are doin, and i've seen tons of this and i think i could try drivin, but still scares me haha but i got all in my mind, though my dad drives a 10 speed a lil easier

  • @whitechapelburning THANKS FOR THE COMP.....

  • nice driving man, you sem very fluid with the shifting :) how long did it take you to learn? hehe im trying to learn stick shift but in a car, ok at it so far :) how much different is a truck from a car? same techniques for shifting? oh and how do you know where your gears are? hehe looks crazy man

  • @skl1cent @skl1cent THANKS FOR THE COMP. YES IT IS VERY DIFFRENT FROM A CAR.

PS: ONCE YOU GET THE ROAD SPEED AND REVS DOWN YOU GOT IT.

    GOOD LUCK!

  • @GEEZROD coooool thanks man :) hehe im still cared about starting off like on a little hill or something, not sure what to do yet, if to give it more rpm or something? I dont wanna roll back into traffic lol!

  • @GEEZROD Revs Meaning Your RPM Correct ?

  • this is a great video, as it shows downshifting too, thanx a lot!

  • @shmaltz THANKS FOR THE COMP

  • @shmaltz What Do Expect From A professional Great vid GEEZROD

  • Way to multi-task brother! What kind of rig are you runnin' there? Sounds like it has a big kitty scratchin' under the hood. Sounds a little meaner than the Ford L-9000 I drive.

  • Thanks, Its a 1988 Kenworth T800, If you go to GZROD on youtube then GZRIG thats the truck I drive. Buffed it all out when first got it. Check it out. Oh and the kitty you hear is just a tired 300 somethin miles cummings bigcam 400.......Aloha

  • too rough, wastn fuel canging down half a grear then a full one

  • THANKS FOR THE COMMENT

  • I can see that you are not pre-selecting. Selecting in neutral will cause wear to the synchros.

  • THANKS FOR THE COMMENT

  • Yes you need to rev the engine to match the gear or half gear(small red button on the left of the stick), same thing when upshifting, if you rpm is too low or too high the gear will grind.

Very nice shifting video, i though is a really nasty road too lol

  • @Wingaman23

    THANKS FOR COMP.......

  • THANKS FOR THE COMP

  • This is the best shifting video on youtube!! Do you have to rev the engine when u downshift? Youre the man anyway thanx!

  • @shmaltz

YES, YOU HAVE TO MATCH THE ROAD SPEED AND REV. THE GRADE OF HILL THE WEIGHT OF LOAD ALL PLAYS A BIG PART.....MAHALOS

  • Exceptional show of skill. Keep up the good work
