  • @0000000Lara I'm sure there is...personally I haven't a recipe...It is a skill and my butcher makes them for me...hes the best :)

  • You had me at "proper English Bangers"

    j/s

  • @azis1100 Haha thank you

  • what kind of beer are you using? an english bitter? or can I use a cheap american lager?

  • @isnipewithaknife Any beer u want dude :)

  • Maybe Trader Joe's. Although I think there are some Whole Foods stores in New Jersey that are fairly close. Thanks for the info!

  • Man does that look good! But in the USA where can you get English bangers?? What is a good substitution?

  • @seattwa I'm lucky enough to live near a butcher who makes English sausages. Its a tough one...wholefoods has English style sausages... that's all i know..hope that helps.:)

  • how do you feel about adding rosemary or thyme to the gravy and/or potatoes?

  • @doubledaredevildog ... absolutely....yes that would work....remember what I do is a guide...feel free to add what you would like.... that's the beauty about cooking :)

  • Thanks for the vid.........

  • @antwuanburton Your welcome..thanks for watching

    Steve:)

  • Good vid mate!

Your really good at explaining it step by step :)

  • Great video bud, do you always leave the skins on for your mash? Never tried that before might give it a go!

  • @TheGuthixClan Thanks man...yes most of the time I leave the skin on....tons of flavour in the skin and it just lifts the taste of the potatoes.

    Thanks for watching

    Steve

  • @TheGuthixClan Leaving the skins on also adds a new texture to the mash, as well as making it more nutritious (all the fibre is in the skin), and cutting down on labour - I'm not sure anyone enjoys peeling potatoes. :) Leaving the skin on potatoes is good for almost everything we do with them, e.g. when making chips.

  • @TheGuthixClan Just notice your user name too - are you a RuneScaper by any chance? :)

  • Ooooh, that looks well nice! :D

  • @ElvisLivesUpstairs Thank you :)

  • Thanks buddy..yes sometimes people just don't know (shame).

    Hope your doing well rich.

    Cheers mate.

  • I was surfing around today here and work and checking my subs and I found this on your channel! I can't believe that I am the only comment here on this dish Steve! This is a classic! The sage is a nice touch! With a nice ale or my fave a stout! Sometimes people don't know good eatin' man! Their loss! Cheers!
