Government borrowing to finance public spending has virtually bankrupted most western european states. Here in the UK the the fourth largest Governnent spend is on debt interest repayment. The general public are largely ignorant of the effect of this borrowing which has always been predicated on the assumption of economic growth which has now been shown to be fallatious.

Our children and grandchildren will be bearing this burden of profligacy for many many years

Exactly! Agree with everything. Government needs to back off and quit trying to make things "equal" because everyone is not equal. If you work hard you should be rewarded, not the people that want to sit at home mooch off those that work. Healthcare reform is another. If it actually doesn't get completely abolished you better hope you don't get sick. I'm in healthcare and the requirements they are going to make us abide by are ridiculous and tons of doctors will retire or be cash pay.

And let's not forget that you have to pay corporate taxes on the whole thing before you even pay the salaries. And while we're talking about salaries, payroll taxes are roughly 30% of the wages paid ON TOP of the salaries. Unemployment benefits? Paid by the employer....whether or not they are used.

Point is that small business creates jobs and pays taxes more ways than you can count. Keep up the good work Greg. I feel your pain.
