As long as we have tools that enable a small minority to gain power, or control over the masses, corruption will continue. The two main tools of gaining power in our societies are money and government.
So if we want to end corruption and economic slaver we need to abolish those two things. The only logical social system I've heard of that accomplishes this is THE VENUS PROJECT. Please learn more about it and spread the word.
Very good video!! If the richest 5% of the population would donate HALF of their fortune, there would be no more hunger.. We should think about that..
@worldoffreeaccess Sweden's tried, and succeded. Obviously this isn't strictly socialism, but then again the world hasn't seen a totally free market either. Basically extremes will never be a solid idea, caring about others to a certain extent always is though.
@blackmichael75 No Sweden, like pretty much everyone else, has a mixed economy. Try telling an anarcho-capitalist that Sweden has a market economy and he'll laugh in your face. If you cared to read what I'd wrote I said that it isn't strictly socialism, however, Sweden's ambitions have been quite different than say US', which is why we can make the comparison.
@mrobliviousjoe Ok, I gratefully accept the correction. You're right. A mixed market economy, shall we say? And by the way, "anarcho-capitalism" is a complete oxymoron.
@blackmichael75 The point I was trying to make is that the free market hasn't been tried either, and I don't find any of the extremes very appealing.
And anarcho-capitalism isn't an oxymoron if you consider other versions of anarchism than the strongest on. Especially in contexts like this one we need to accept that some expressions isn't as easy to define as we'd like them to be, and the reason for this is that if they were they'd lose expressive power.

@worldoffreeaccess, precisely. Socialism fully ripened is international and it's moneyless, stateless and classless.

@mrobliviousjoe do the workers democratically own the means of production? no. it is no where near socialism then.

@GalenAus Politics is ambitions. Even though pragmatism tries it's best to get rid of idealism it hasn't succeded yet, and I hope it never will.

@mrobliviousjoe what GalenAus said. Sweden has a market economy like everyone else.
