Just beyond the starting line on the other side of the street used to be the lot for the Ford - Mercury dealer in town (you can still see a couple of light poles - remember that?
And they go past where the old Hardees was. Uptown we see where Belks was and Jones' Newstand and Varners. Anyone remember the other theatre right next to the Co-Ed? There was two.
