It's called a circus for good reason, this wasn't really a ballet, but the soloist woman deffinately had to have some form of ballet teaching I've been in point for three years with an amazing teacher and I still couldn't hold an arabesque like that on the ground let alone on some guys head. Over all very well done.

I'm so sorry, but that is not ballet. that is a circus. a quite good one, but still, a circus. ballet, and swan lake in particular, is about grace, performing in unison, and being light as a feather, light as a swan. here, we see a lot of technique and an amazing physique, but it's too edgy, too rough.

Normally my preference is to say kind and encouraging words when I have viewed a video on Youtube. However the kindest words I can say about this display of GYMNASTICS, is that it is GYMNASTICS not ballet and a better name for it is Frog Lake. The music is too beautiful and gracious to back up all that leap frogging.

well i see ur point, because it is awfully showy =.=;; but i'd say this is a very creative mix of gynastics, ballet, and....flexibility? xD And yes even though it's not hardcore ballet, it is extremely entertaining to watch and the technique is there. It's pretty much just extreme competition ballet....mixed with wackiness x)

My Sister studied ballet for years. And this girl is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! But let's give credit where credit is due. Her partner is also FANTASTIC. Partnering is not as easy as it looks!
