This is not a widely recorded piece for Guitar, but is one of my favorites. Amos seems to be performing the Segovia arrangement, but he makes some odd changes such as the chord at around 2:19, and the run at 2:33 or thereabouts.

If the right amplification is used it can sound better on guitar. The guitar sound is more 'Spanish' somehow. Also the player has to be the very top as a lot ot it is played high on the frets with difficult barres and complete mastery is needed to get the full expressiveness across. Sounds poor is the guitarist has to strain at all.
@gerundino98 oh yeah, totally. this guy makes it sound very relaxed, as if he is sitting on some mexican sidewalk playing it. i do like that, but piano just seems to bring music more alive than most instruments, on some songs anyway.
shit, he makes so many mistakes in this one its almost unbareable to listen to. he wasnt ready for an audience with this song at all!

Funny isn't it - Albeniz was composing on piano, with the guitar in his soul. Lovely performance of a testing guitar piece.

Yes it must be very difficult to play. I've once heard once this music played by two guitars.

Great music !

Thanks! The music, while not all that difficult on piano (for which it was originally written), is tricky for guitar.
