It is definitely not working right! You lift my Jeep with a factory LSD on a jack like that and it will take off. With it on the jack like that, try putting on the parking brake about 2-clicks; sometimes you need to do this to activate the clutch pack. If it does not move the other wheel, then you LSD is broke.
@cazisk LSD works well, to a limit. Hell, yes, I would go with a locker for off-roading, however, those of us that must use our 4x4s as DDs -- especially, in snow and ice -- don't want an auto locker, as that can be kind of scary on ice. Plus, most of us cannot afford an ARB or other selectable lockers. I would push it with a Spartan in the rear, but never the front for a DD.
all wronggggggggggggggggggg, does not only work in 4wd,,and both wheels need to touch the deck,,if you want no bullshit traction then air lockers are the go,,lift both wheels off the ground and both will spin he same way,,thats lasd,,if one wheel goes back and one goes forward that open center, your has lsd,,maybe put anoth clutch plate inside diff to tighten up,,but may as well put a locker in if you go that far
@Lightyear316 actually i think ur thinking of a center diffin which case ur statement would be true. but im showing a rear diff which is a different thing all together
