@PD3withDP Thanks for answer but I was asking "where" did you plug it :) To some kind of audio interface? Did you add any software? Im interested in such technical matters cause I can't get a decent tone from my Cube 40 xl from the recording out output :) Cheers!
Hello Pete ! Awesome playing ! I myself have a Gibson and a Roland Cube 20x and I would want to know how did you record the sound of your Roland. With a SM57 ? By the way, I would also want to know if you put the volume loud or low on your amp ? Thanks
@mistermanugo Cheers. I recorded the sound from the 'Headphones/Record' output, amp vol set at about 9 o'clock without the Power Squeezer. Bass and treble nearly off, mid on full, Tubedrive model. Pete.
Hi Motokev. Glad you like it. All albums are available from my website plus on CD Baby and iTunes. Including Mystery of Weather. I checked out Johnny A. Cool! Will listen to more.
Wonderful, I really like David Gilmour and that song is in his style, very fluid, very blue but also strong and powerful-the complete story. So like David use to say: Thank you very much in did, and I add: to sharing that song with us".
Pete, have you tried the "Overdrive" model on the 20X? I have been having trouble dialing in a good tone. I'm not sure as to where the tone controls should be set. Some folks start with them all at mid way and others like to turn them on full and then adjust......how do you dial in yours?
Hi. I have the bass off, middle on full and treble between off and 3 depending on requirement. This works for me on Tubedrive and clean channel. Not really tried Overdrive setting much 'cause Tubedrive does it for me.
Thanks very much. I tried miking it once but the DI sound was more controllable and convenient, although I find the bass sometimes takes over on long held notes and miking might help control that. In the studio it's easier to EQ the DI with a bass shelf at about 80hz.
You have wonderful touch, taste, and tone! A real pleasure to here this. If you just miked the 20X would you get as good a tone; compared to your method of using the direct out jack?
Is that the model Mayer plays sometimes? That guitar is beautiful
Didn't even know my amp could get tones like this... I got to upgrade my guitar soon

@ZychuZychu I plugged into a DIGI002 interface and recorded into Logic, no additional outboard gear. Bit of reverb added in Logic.

Another impressive vid from Mr D. I'm tempted to get one of those amps as of course then I'd instantly sound like this :-)

Thanks. Of course the guitar is a factor so so you may have to adjust. The CS-356 is quite bright.
