the x-games are the anti skate, just look what happened to Love Park and City Hall in Philadelphia, if you dont know they used the money the city got from the xgames to destroy Love Park, The architect of Love Park (Ed Bacon) liked what the skaters were doing since before them it was the crackhead spot and he never thought his plaza would be fun for anyone, just a sitting spot.

@ScDowner That was not my point. To destroy such a park is a fucking shameful, disgraceful waste. What would have been wrong with donating the park to the locality after the competition? X-Games is lame as fuck.

I'm sure some idiot will say "but it's not a charity organisation, it's for profit herp derp conservaderp"-they built it in the first place, tearing it down only incurs extra costs. If anything, it saves them money should they wish to hold the event in the same location in future.
