  • Awesome video. No B.S... straight to the point.

  • Good video.

  • duct tape and super glue , my 2 best friends

  • nice vid and awesome background music lol!

  • so cool thanks for showing

  • Screw finding the heavy spot. Plus weights look like shit. Use Dyna Beads.

  • hahahahaha.....i wish i could bring tires as fast as you do pardner...yahooey.

  • Fantastic video.

  • werd

  • i think your placement was about 6mm off .....if the wheel spins up 90 degrees or less that is placement ...any more and ya need more weight ..im a balance bicth for pirelli,,csbk.........and those beads im also a licenced mc mechanic....i think those beads may be good for your harley goldwing or metric cruiser but nothin beats a static balancer at 190 mph good enough for gp ....csbk and ama if those beads were the best thing on the earth we would use em...

  • i would like to get a full dynamic balance i guess i have to take it to a shop to do that?

  • @trdnismoguy static is the best way.machines need Calibration ive never seen one at any shop acctully get serviced...lol.... like i said super bike wheels are static balanced....that says it all

  • Where do you get the wheel stand for balancing?

  • Like the enthusiasm bro.

    Duelin Banjos FTW!!

    Haha

  • what could happen if i dont balance my wheels ?

  • Hey its Woody from Cheers!

  • two products worth mentioning considering how old this video is...

Dyna Beads and Ride On... no more weights or balancing ever again

  • Dyna Beads not a good choice if you intend to ride on the track, should still stick with traditional weights for that kind of riding.

  • amazing, usefull information, nice music, nice accent hahaah

  • Maaaaan! Nice video! Thanks :)

  • Can you show me how to change a rear tire on an 02 V Star 1100 that way? I need to concentrate? Is that all? Thanks!

  • Wow I look up how to wheel and this is my suggestion?

  • You just saved me 50 bucks. Thanks a lot! :)

  • Good explanation, bro.

  • 4 people run an auto shop and don't want you to know how to balance your own tires lol.

  • Does the balancer need to be EXACTLY level? Also,American Weights but be less sticky than in England.Fly Off?? No chance, mine stick like Shit to a blanket, and when removed, take a nasty chunk of Paint with them.Any advice how to remove carefully? Usually the Monkey at the tyre yard has already ruined the paint for me.

  • I have always wondered if one could balance a motorcycle wheel this way, and then throw it on something like a Snap On spin balancer and see if both of them are in agreement. Surely someone done this!

  • Awesome

  • So I have a question... Um when you put the waits on, do you keep them on? Or do you ride the bike around. break the tire in and then take the waits off?

  • @carwcc1234 leave on :)

  • @carwcc1234

    it's weights not waits

  • hahaha awesome vid man :))) Where do you race?

  • hahahaha good vid love the background music and the magical tire mount

  • really good video, the only thing that has put me off doing my own tyres is how to balance them, you really explain it well, so its something i might considering doing in the future, but if anything it really teaches how/why its good to balance a motorbike tyre.

  • is that a tier from a kawasaki zx 12r

  • ☺ I like how he mounted the front tire ☺

  • The music is from the film Deliverance the banjo scene.

  • Where do you buy the balancing tool and how much?

  • Just found your video on static wheel balancing... Fun and informative - thanks for posting it! Wooo!

  • lmao, the music is awsome........ awsome but a little scary!

  • Awesome video. Thank you so much. Nice 675! :D I have it in black, but love the red just as much! :D

  • Excellent video and information. Thank you for making and sharing. For those concerned about the cost of the balancer, try a pair of jack stands making sure they are level with each other.

  • good demostration thanks dude !!!

  • Haha, cracking how to mate. thanks

  • Actually you shouldn't have to duck tape the weights on. The sticky back should be enough. Centrifugal force should hold it. The faster the tire turns the more pressure will be on the weight holding in place. The reason why weights come off is due to bumps and pot holes.

  • Haha thanks

  • Great video, If my usual tyre place didn't charge £4 for fitting, balancing and disposal of my old tyre I would do it myself. :D I was curious about how they did it though. Cheers.

  • Damn one of the best tutorials I found for motorcycles. Thanks for sharring

  • Many thanks - I think this video was the final straw in convincing me to do it myself. Though that balancer costs ~$50 from what I've seen...blah...

  • u funny man... at 3:39 it was funny as a motha fucka lol.......... great vid

  • nice,. looks great

  • amazing that was!

  • Great video! I like the dueling banjo's too

  • Dude your video rocks... real simple and comical.

  • Hey..it was still moving.

  • Woo!

  • Anybody know the name of the background tune that plays in the last part of the movie?(guitar)

  • Is there a reason it can't just be done (ON) the bike?

  • @AMNBOSSTOO becuz u gotta make sure that its leveled before trying to balance and it wont really be leveled on tha bike

  • Where do you get these weights. I've got spokes, I'm thinking I can try some fishing leads on the spokes. They probably are a lot cheaper and more available.

  • hahaha man, love the music and the way you mount the wheel on that sweet sweet bike! Cudos to you!

  • Thanks mate :D very helpful ! now i can change my own tyres and save myself £50 :D

  • @benjeans hey ,,, dont know where you live ( im j16, m6 ) but if you ask round the smaller bike workshops you can get tyres done real cheap . i pay £6 for a change and balance . talk to people first though ,, make sure they say good things about them .

  • This is very clever...

    Thank you for shairing!!!

  • centrifugal force will push the wheel weights OUTWARDS and thus keep them planted to the rim at higher speeds.

  • you did a great job i have my honda repsol and i did the same every time that i change the tires of mine

  • WOOOOOOOOO

  • you did a great job on the balancing, but let me tell you that a piece of duc tape is not going to hold a weigt that rolls at 100 MPH.

    Regards.

  • better than nothing at all, anyway...nice video.

  • Thanks for the info(Y) thats a gorgeous bike btw.

  • Its OK, thanks buddy!

  • Dyna beads work great and are much easier. I've used them on my last 4 sets of tires excellent results. no need to buy a balancer. Google them

  • Very usefull and well explained!!! Thanks

  • Good vid hahahaha

  • YO my freinds is freaking awesome, Now I know how to balance to rims,, EZ

  • thanks, great video!

  • Nice job brother. I didn't know it was that easy to balance a tire, i'm ordering up a balancer soon. Need tires on both bikes next spring, balancer will pay for itself real quick.

  • nice

  • Awesome vid. Thanks

  • All right. I actually learned something. Thanks.

  • Superb with thanks...."Thumbs up" i wont pay a mechanic in future to do it

  • Super video "thumbs up"!

  • Really cool man! Thanks from France.

  • lol, this guys had a little much coffee i thinks

  • great video, thanks alot mate !

  • Where can I get this stand?

  • To be more accurate you should mark the center of the location of the weights when you balance the wheel before removing the weights to divide them in two parts. Feel free to translate this if it sounds to wordy. =)

  • Squeel Piggy!!!

  • nice

  • Nice vid, great job the way you put that tire back, quick!!! thanks for charing the info cause I am trying to learn some stuff.

  • hey so where can i get those "wieghts" that you are putting on the rim?

  • Tire shops, small auto shops. auto shops use them for custom rims, since there are no other places to put standard auto weights on custom rims

  • entertaining. thanks.

  • Nice one WT ! :-)

  • is this truly necessary for the time?

  • thanks for the lesson on this how to :)

  • nice

  • Fantastic, can you teach me to re-mount a wheel like that, it'd save all the cursing violent swearing and wishing I had two extra arms to a minimum.

  • man..you r real!.r e s p e c t,,,

  • THANKS!!!

  • I am here to serve ;)

  • @williamsTriumph can i put the weights from the inside ?

    it looks way better...

  • @williamsTriumph Hey i have a quick question, may sound stupid...but ive always put michilin pilot powers regs and 2ct....but i just got a new bike and it came with dunlop quilifiers, and he gave me new skins of continental attacks and i weary on throwing them on my bike since they are the first tubless sportbike tire ive seen...If you could give me some input on the pros and cons i'd appreciate...thanks

  • @williamsTriumph You are

  • great video, informative and funny as well.

  • thats some great tips my man. How do you rate the supercorsa?

  • I'm no professional racer...but they are the best tire I have ridden on!

  • may take a few laps to warm up...other than that it has amazing grip on the track...i have more confidence with them

  • Great video....I love the dueling banjos in the background

  • Great video!!

  • What are the advantages of doing this?

  • Every time you mount a tire to a wheel it has be balanced. Without it there will be a heavy spot that will cause one heck of a vibration at speed.

  • great video

  • Teach me that trick Bill?...nice work again my friend.

  • this guy is my hero!

  • Witch!!! Witch! He got the tyre back on with out using his hands! BURN HIM!
