I notice that audience members are laughing frequently throughout Professor West's speech -- even when the things they are laughing at cannot be construed as funny by an y stretch of the imagination. I think these audience members, though most of them probably have the same ideals and political beliefs as West, realize (even if only deep down) that he is a pseudo-intellectual farce of a person.
