i recently came to the conclusion that liverpool is a great city IF you are from elsewhere and only have to live there for a short period (like three years).

the problem is the scouse attitude if have inherited as a person from the area. it is very difficult to change. the people have great humour, but have an over sentimental, narrow minded view of life.

if you are from outside the area, chances are you dont have the scouse 'chip on your shoulder' and you will enjoy it more than the average scouser.

the moshing was there, periodically, but the majority of it was a big open space, and two really drunk guys fighting it out, i saw the same ginger guy at lamb of god the next night!

there wasn't much, you're right, but testament hadn't played here (liverpool) since like '86 and they had took there day off priest feast to play that night, so people where just more appreciative and wanted to revel in the moment as opposed to moshing.
