ive made a lego boat with no plastic, and it is not watertight, therefor not flotable. i go with zeevaarder1987's idea. it is really effective.

Well if you build it watertight you wont need it. And i would build the motor more on top of the boat in a compartment. The air trapped in the legobricks should keep the ship floating so i think its kinda useless. But soon i will build my own one so will see who is wrong, and i will just drop it and let it sink with motor and all in it if i fail and you will be the first one to see it and laugh if it happens:P

But i like the design for making the boat and will surely use it.

Not true what he said. Its way better to put the motor above just in case.

Also you can put it downwards. What you get is one stick going down. Then you put one weel on it. And then 2 sticks each with one wheel connected to it so you get 2 propellers sticking out of the boat. This way you dont lose speed cause the motor can handle a lot if it when it runs smooth. Or you can use 2 motors to run it seprate to steer or make a ruther with another motor. Hack, why not all if you can:P
