those waves are obscene. I love to surf but im used to the florida A frame. I moved to maui and surfed some sickness but you'd have to put a gun to my head to get me out on a 20ft+ face. Peahi, or JAWS, is an epic wave and fun to watch but I don't have a death wish. Props to those guys surfing that shit. Shipstern Bluff has a new spot in my heart by the way. Have you seen the way that bitch breaks...totally ridic.

wouldnt you wish for it!!! ah mate from what i know, mundaka is a very fickle spot requiring only large swells to be able to produce its magic. Such fickle nature makes it break over 8 ft about once a year, and a couple of 4-6 ft days in between.... happen to lock into one of these days and you will feel like king.

Very good close out set at the beginning.One can see that mundaka is allmost unsurfable when it gets very big.had some very big days there 15 years ago but no pictures or anything,but I remember that all boots in the harbour where smashed to pieces and that 2 years later they doug out the harbour!I shit mayself that day and everybody was washed in in the end.There was not much surfing done that day just pure survivel!Good to see mundaka big again!guenni614
