  • He's an awesome host. Combs was an awesome replacement for Dawson.

  • Am I the only one who thinks that if Ray hadn't killed himself, he would've made a terrific Price Is Right host?

  • @DorvellTStewart

Not at all. I feel that if Ray were still with us today, he'd still be just as involved in the game show world, and do just as awesome a job.

  • I really like the older FF episodes. But somewhere here around 1993 the audience got too loud and the families clapped their hands a bit too much. I guess with Ray gone those bad parts got out of hand. (I really can't stand the newer episodes).

  • When The Strikes Appear Instead Of the Ont Strike Buzzer Sound Why don't Replace It With The Sound Effect Of Someone Saying Ouch You Know Like After Someone Has pinched Them.

  • I have never seen this version of Family Feud.. Thanks for the upload. Guess i'll have to catch some Combs Feud on GSN.

  • @bluemonkey519 sadly GSN has removed this from their schedule...it's one of my fantasies that GSN launches a 'classic' network so that those of us that want to watch shows like this can enjoy them again...

  • obviously Blondie. Why wouldn't you say that. And she did break the mic. That's funny.

  • The question asked on this episode was "Name a monument in Washington D.C. that brings tears to your eyes."

After the horrific events of September 11, 2001, The Pentagon would be up there if this same question was used today.

  • Crazy asian chick breaks the mic at 1:47

  • For a short time in 1992, there are three strike signs in each family. Whatever fails, a family member holds the strike sign.

  • You should be renamed "The New Family Feud".

  • I should? That might confuse people...my name's been "supersaver87" for quite some time now. ;)

  • For the first year the syndie version had the Bullseye game, didn't the opening have a sample question, followed by a REAL target with arrow hitting the bullseye, then the family intro's?

  • That is 100% correct, allnewtpir. :)

  • That's be the first time a five time champion would be awarded an automobile since 1986 when B&E left the air.

  • Believe it or not, there was a short period either late 90's or early 2000's in Jeopardy's history where a five-time champ also won a car. It's true!

    Exciting stuff, anyway!

  • Indeed; that rule was in place on J! from Sep. 1997 to Jul. 2003.

Imagine if that rule was kept in place once the 5-time limit was removed...Ken Jennings coulda had a fleet of Camaros! XD

  • i'm curious about that too.

  • same here

  • i did hear a rumor that the bullseye round is coming in september, but has it been confirmed?

  • It has been confirmed by Family Feud's Twitter page.

They will also be giving 5-time champions a new Chrysler 300.

  • Makes sense that they'd be giving away that car since it will probably be getting phased out for the more fuel-efficient models from Fiat.

  • oh wow. (i have to say, hopefully if enough teams retire undefeated their annual "big money tournament" will be a tournament of CHAMPIONS and not a "second chance tournament" so to speak. (i have to say, i think it was pretty ridiculous that 1 of the families in this past year's tournament hadn't ever been on the show before.) (i THINK that was this past season, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.)
