  • i have a double axel too in a parking lot .. but it's with the skates ;)

  • not bad. try punching your left knee up more.

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    O CRAP!

  • when landing, you had weight on the right side and you slowly shifted to the left side before you completely stopped the rotation thus having to put your left foot down to balance. keep the weight on the right side until you check the landing and then open the hip and stretch the body line out.

  • hahhahah. "Oh Crap!"

    That was awesome!

  • haha!!! and they say skaters only practice on there skates. haha. u can do it eni where. lol.

  • nice

  • 2 and 1/4, but good try.

  • Yes, it was 2 and a fourth rotations. =] You have to remember that anything from 1/4 "cheated" to fully rotated is actually considered clean though. Plus, it's a little easier to land the jump if you don't have enough height like I struggle with.

  • True.

  • no double axel jump takes off completely dead on and turns exactly 2.5 turns. if it does then you're either over rotating on landing or will have to step out of the jump immediately from the check out. for the skaters that skid their axels on take off (my favorite kind =] ) if you slow motion their take off, then you will see that the blade does not fully come off the ice until 1/4 to even 1/2 a turn has already completed.

  • Hey! Its Anthony! I still see you are at it!

    Hope all is well!
