I'm so glad he retired. Not because I don't like him, but because he is one of my favorite wrestlers ever. He is one of the best. And true fans of him would agree with me that it was the best thing for him to retire. I'd rather remember edge as a man who was forced to retire as the World Heavyweight Champion rather than a man who later was a paraplegic. This was emotional as hell and it was meant to be. This concluding statement might be contradictory but I will do it anyway.

He earn't my respect ever since I have known him, from being in tag teams, to going into single competition, winning the WWE title and having sex with Lita in the middle of the ring. Edge has truly been a well respected superstar to me when he was Heel of Face I loved seeing him wrestle, really sucks we couldn't see him more and that he has been forced to retire but he seems really happy about what he has done and what has yet to come. Edge Head for life!

Edge (in my view) is just about as big a legend as the likes of HBK, Stone Cold, The Rock and even HHH. It's just a shame that since he (along with HBK perhaps) was the best thing wwe had going from early '06 to his retirement he won't be remembered as such. He will always be missed.
