Hey, I have a question. I was wondering if the club head is smaller on the blades then the cavity back. I have a couple 'blades' and the club head from bottom to top is literally smaller than the ball. Are the club heads close to the same size or what? Im a pretty good golfer but I dont like 'blades' if theyre that small. If not, theyre fine and I might buy them. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

He's probably rocking a set of R9's... Not some other brand. Tiger REALLY does use the VR blades. Granted he has custom grips and shafts, but you should too if you're serious enough about golf to buy $1000 irons.

Tiger's blades are going to be completely different than the ones out on retail. So truth is, there is no best "brand" or style. It's all opinion and what fits your game the best. Ex: Some people putt better with there dads old putter than they do with a scotty cameron. Its all preference and fitting clubs for your game.

Just remember to practice with them man. Keep hitting them till you get better, and you gain power. Then switch to blades. Also, its a good idea to switch the grips. Try corded grips, they will not wear out quickly-they cost twice the money of a normal grip, but they last alot longer, and they are good in all weather conditions.

well i wanted the split cavity but i could carry the ball at least 5 yards farther with the full cavity, than the split, when i got them fit i had way more controll and workability like on the split cavity
