  • I was gonna thumbsdown this vid but you can't go wrong with cool Apollo pics so I thumbsuped it.

  • very best pictures, the background overlay as you can see

  • @dhudson369 "Pure BS" because you can't do a 10 second Google search for the video of them unpacking it? Fairly typical CT'er logic. Granted, the videos on YouTube of it are really poor resolution, but the NASA archive has it.

  • no wheel tracks either direction ...... the trackless moon rover why fake it if it was real

  • @THREESIXNINE100

Are you suggesting there are no tracks because they they lowered it by crane onto a movie set?

    Why?

  • @TheJomogogo It look like that the case or the stagehand/groundkeeper rake it out .

  • Ah, so duct tape is fake now too, I just died a little inside.

  • i see foot prints around the car but no wheel prints could the NASA pixi people covered their track? YES

  • nice GM / NASA vehicle with piano wire wheels!!!

  • it could be that the rover kicked up so much dust that it buried its own track marks with lunatic dust. i do notice mud flaps on the wheels like those found on motorcycles on earth. i bet they had a NASA name like lunar particulate suppression system.

  • @datzfast lol.

...on one of the later "rover" equiped missions a fender was severly damaged, with so much moon suface flying into their vehicle it was not drivable unless driven very slowly...the high tech fix they devised was know as "folded and duct tapped silicon coated map" ...this device allowed them to drive normal to high speeds which kept the mission on course.

  • @MightySaturn5 dont you mean a lunar bonding strip? the solvent in duct tape would heat up evaporate and the glue would turn to dust. but hey we all know it was a " special " duct tape. eveything is special about NASA.

  • @datzfast thats like a person using an umbrella and calling it a special umbrella made of water resistant material -obviously NASA uses some form of tape that can sustain (for a time) the lunar heat and radiation...considering they've used high heat fibers in foundry gloves for 100 years its easy to grasp those same fibers woven into a dense weave and coated with an adhesive with a high melting point.

I'm sure such a "tape" wouldn't last long in that heat but would hold up for a missions length

  • @MightySaturn5 -- I actually wonder how normal duct tape would work on the moon. After all, it is designed to be used on heating ducts. The moon's temperature is said to be only a little over the water boiling point. It would dry up and fall apart after a while, but I'd bet it would work for the day-long requirement for the fender repair.

  • @nesokretep -Interesting point neo....I too would be curious to see how long regular duct tape would hold up on the lunar surface. Of course since the moon has no atmosphere you'd have pretty high solar radiation levels in addition to the 240 degree heat

  • @MightySaturn5 Of course NASA used a tape that could be used on the Moon. Otherwise, why take it along on the journey?

Yes, NASA had many "special" things. The first Mercury astronauts even had specially made pens to be able to write in Zero G. The Soviets used ordinary pencils...

There were A LOT of new materials and procedures invented during the early space program. Things that we now use in everyday life.

  • keep your nose out of the antennas businesss.,

  • what's the antenna for and why is it pointing upwards?

  • @Preabus The antenna was for communication with Earth, and it pointed upwards because the Earth was almost in zenith, because they landed near the center of the hemisphere visible from Earth.

  • @Cosmored Oh you fucking moronic piece of shit, Give me some proof, Come on. No "Radiation" bullshit or anything to do with shadows, lighting, movement, heat, stars, sun, or Earth, Or Russia, or studios, or wires, or tires, or the land rover and its tracks, or foot prints or motives as I've debunked everysingle one of them. So come on give me some proof.

  • @5Ratemyvideos

Do a YouTube search on "Apollo 15 flag waving".

  • Blather.......

  • Hogwash.

  • @makic73 Shush.

  • I once bought an old 1948 Jeep that had been sitting in a field for well over 10 years since it last ran. New plugs and points, a fresh battery and and gas and I was able fire it up and drive it onto my trailer.

I just wonder if after 40 years if one was to get back to the moon, how hard it would be to fire up one of those Lunar Rovers. How many are there up there? 2, maybe 3?

Seriously, those 6 landing sites need to be deemed Historic Sites and protected as such for ever more.

  • why did the Nasa so a stupid mobile put on the moon? it makes no sense!

  • @dokabernd Speaking of making no sense... O_o

  • This thing cost how many millions of dollars, yet it has no cup holder?

  • thanks for posting a picture on a video site. Because none of us could have searched google images if we wanted to see a picture of something.

  • Fucking reposter. twistedmojo is the real poster

  • If I remeber correctly, the Rover did 18 km.hour. To drive on the Moon.. Imagine that!

  • WHOA!

    This one deserves another watch.

  • the rover that didn't rove :(

  • It's a dune buggy in the dessert!

  • dude its not the desert its on the moon

  • that is not a radar you fucking ignorant loser, that is the high-gain antenna. and this 'crap' as you call the RV was designed by your fellow Hungarian countryman Ferenc Pavlics. shame on you. get a life!

  • I am still waiting for that Apollo 11 footage you promised to show me as some sort of evidence. you are full of shit. you are the dumbest hoaxnut I've ever met. I've beat you once I will beat you anytime you pathetic lowlife hoaxnut.

  • Comment removed

  • Exactly. No such tapes exists. He just tries...with no luck. Haha!

  • LOL I still can not hear any evidence! U know jackshit about this subject. U just spiting half-assed infos somebody planted in your tiny brain you miserable fuck. Time to pull your head out of your ass and read a book about this. Any book...Can you read? Or you can go deeper in the shitpile you call your life.

  • ..he'd probably think about what your saying where it not for all the unnecessary abuse.

  • yeah supermassvanity you are right. but I just can't help myself when I deal with these airheaded hoaxnuts. the world became cynical. it is trendy to question everything, even mankind's greatest achievements. the people from that time were a 'can-do' generation. nowdays people are 'can't-dos'. thanks to the ones like this masztif fella here.

Lehetsz te akármekkora tudós, akkor is 1 irányítható birka maradsz, ideális állampolgára ennek a rendszernek.

  • lol.

...you talking about style and aggression? take a look at the rant mr. masztif left on my personal page and see what kinda style and arrogance he has. suggest to Frye to just ignore him. waste of time and energy...

    shame on masztif!

  • oh lol mr bikini(hahaha), yeah i wrote that, but please would you show your comment you wrote me firs?

  • yeah you are right haha. let him burn.

  • so the moon soil and rocks arent really real?

  • moonstone can be found on Earth too, but ask Mr Frye666 he's a professional.

  • get your head out

  • Serious question - Did they take a spare wheel in case of a puncture?

  • the wheels were made of zinc coated woven 0.033 inch diameter steel strands attached to the rim and discs of formed aluminum

  • LUNAR ROVER!! RUN!

    lol

  • This was the final resting place for this rover from Apollo 15. The hi-res image AS15-88-11901 shows Astronaut foot prints and disturbed soil all around the rover. Lets see... Astronaut foot prints around a Rover built to transport Astronauts...that must be a conspiracy!

  • The Chinese lack the experience of the Apollo-program, witch USA have. They and other nations will work (or maybe not China?) together at the new Moon and Manned Mars missions. It is to mutch for one state alone. The chinese have gotten into space, but to land on the Moon is something else..

  • Wait for the book..;)

  • The Lunar Rover is a BUILDING?

    Imagine that.

  • You're right! I never thought of that! Now I have been saved from the multi billion dollar fraud. Kennedy was assassinated by aliens from the Soviet Union using weapons made by Nazi Germany in a secret government cover up by the CIA, too. Man, I'm so glad I'm free.

  • Don't forget the jews, the jews are always in on it too. I recently read parts of a disgusting website claiming (the guy should win a BS award) that the the jews were working WITH the Nazi's. I was given the link by an Apollo Conspiricy Theorist.

  • The rover was powered by silver zinc batteries. They have the highest power to weight and size ratio and very good power output. As well, the rolling weight would be lighter on the moon. We don't use them in electric cars because they are too expensive. We do use them in areas where a long life and dependibility is needed, like watches and hearing aids. It's all so simple if you do a little research. May truth hold no terrors for you. Peace Out.

  • So we can have electric golf carts but Boeing couldn't design an electric rover for the moon? The Rover never went dozens of miles! The 3 Rovers went 7.75, 7.20 and 12.5 miles. They were Powered by two 36-volt silver-zinc potassium hydroxide batteries so basically the equivalent of six 12 volt batteries. The rover had a motor for each wheel that produced .25 HP. Considering it only weighed 77 lbs on the moon and the distances traveled, the Rovers two batteries supplied sufficient power.

  • Thats cool man. I think the wheels were made of piano-strings or so, normal tires would have blown up.. But was the LEM carrying the Rover bigger than the other LEM`s? (That doesnt make sence though, so how was that?) "To drive on the Moon" -that is blowing my mind! And the new Moon program -I can`t wait!

  • It was the same size Lunar module. I will try to find my links to many of the images and videos of the rover loaded on the LM, being loaded onto the LM , being released from the LM and also images of how it was folded up to be loaded...I will try to find them and send you a few.

  • Wow, that is awesame man! I have actually never seen that! That is very kind of you!

  • Basically what it comes down too is this... You have a bunch of primatives or Monkeys. They are so jealous of our rich history that they do whatever it takes to debunk it. We the builders have landed on the moon, invented flight, computer, the internet, the telephone, and so many more. Monkeys just like throwing turds. Just ingore these silly creatures. All of the Commonwealth countries are being resettled, soon they will a be browned out and this madness will end

  • No, Will be exactly like in this movie.

  • Get a life you tool.

  • that's definitely slow motion
