I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Glenn on his recent demo at the AAW's Hartford, CT 2010 Symposium. I watched him do two 1-1/2 hour demonstrations one on platters and the other thin-walled bowls. He is a master turner and an outstanding presenter. I wholeheartedly recommend if you have an opportunity to see him or work with him do it. I'd love to have one of his bowls.
Funny that a farmer said "It's amazing what you can do with a bit of a stick". Aye, turners see more in a lump of wood than just something to burn in the fire to keep us warm :-)
congrats! from mexico city!.
how would you like to do a seminar in mexico ?
best regards. GT
