  • this is a great performance! The tempo is in a different pocket, but it sounds great as a funkier version. This is one of my fave DD songs ... and I love the brass and Warren's take on the guitar line is inspired, but doesn't undermine Andy's originally defined space on the track. Warren is very talented and a passionate player. I agree that Duran is awesome with Andy or Warren, just different periods of their life as a band, like all of us, right?! Viva Duran Duran!

  • Where does that come from ? Wich live is it ?

    Sounds Amazing !

  • Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!!!!! =)

  • Wow Simon and John are so HOT in this!!!! Love the song and live is AWESOME! DD are so talented!

  • this is one KICK ASS LIVE VERSION .. LOVE the horns and WC on guitar .. PERFECTION !!!

  • for my money the best arrangement of this track, one of my personal favourites. still blows me away 23 yrs after first seeing it - that is the mark of a real band. The boys with Warren and Steve, a remarkable response to having lost two main band members. great stuff from my favourite band. AYNIN is a great return to form too, keep up the good work..please, lol

  • This is AMAZING!! They're just as good now though, saw them a couple years back in Boston and they blew my pants off.

  • WOW! I had never seen this at all when MTV was was real MTV and played MUSIC videos & Music concerts back in 1980's & early 1990's. During the past 15 years "MTV" is just a oxymoron channel name for dumbass non-music shows. Evidentilly they forgot one of their early slogans, "See the music you want to see" Thank you for posting this.

  • Simon and John are so flipping hot in this video.

  • Love andy but i think warren is more talented.

  • They are HOT here! Wow... they look amazing! Simon is so tone and thin. What a dish!

  • Thanks for the post.

  • I loved this band...hardcore. John melted my heart...with those eyes and that HUGE smile...the bass was so hardcore..he was so talented...as was the whole band. I LOVED this song.........I must have went threw 3 tapes of this album in my day!

  • q churro es este webon!!! simon le hot!!

  • NIce work Warren!

  • great warren!!!!!!! please comeback in dd

  • @Cuccurullo72

He's literally the bomb.. Im so pissed they got rid of him to get Andy back just for him to leave again!!

  • The basslines in this song are so damn sexy! That deep, driving, warm sound is hot. And I want to lick Simon's arms up and down. Look @ those shoulders!

  • i am looking of that DVD, can i buy one ?

  • Simon sounds awesome!!!!

  • Oh. Yeahhh.

  • AM ALL OVER THAT BASSLINE

  • me tooo best version ever!!! god bless Warren and the boys

  • I adore this version!!!)))

  • Simon look so sexy as always. I can't wait to see you in July! :)

  • This arrangement is certainly different from what fans would have expected at the time. But it actually works pretty well in context with the rest of the concert. (Not that I was there or anything, but I do have it on VHS somewhere..)

  • I quite like this version myself - I have this on VHS too. Working For The Skin Trade would make a great DVD, with 3 To Get Ready (a 'making of' video) as an extra feature.

  • I would most certainly buy a DVD like that. :)

  • ive got it with a hidden easter egg feature

  • I really loved what they did with HLTW on this tour. I have a bootleg cassette someone gave me.

  • i liked very much this clip. Simon looks very good.

  • omg to slow, and warren, your no andy!

  • The horns are very misplaced on this song, I very much prefer the dark atmosphere on the album version. And indeed, as pointed out earlier, the song is performed way too slow...

  • Yess, this is The Horns Notorious Section, i think.

  • this have to be NOTORIOUS tour for sure. their most complete tour ever..horn session, back up singers etc. i was a 9yo when i saw this tour at the national stadium in san juan puerto rico..N I HAVE THE TICKET STUB STILL!!!

  • TRIVIA TIME TRIVIA TIME DD FANS!! what TWO main bands did duran duran wanted to "imitate" when they first got together? they were influenced by many artist..but there were TWO main ones that they wanted to "mix" and " be" like them...ask me for clues!

  • chic and the sex pistols were two main ones

  • you got one!! CHIC...but there is another one. that other one influenced most 80's band. think glam first, then suites and BEAUTIFUL women...

  • Roxy Music

  • BINGO! LOL...Le Roxy Musique!

  • Oh I miss Warren C, but love Duran with him and without him.

  • Ahh he has an AMAZING voice!!!

i love him so so so so so so much! <3

  • shame u can't see mr rhodes's smile as its one gorgeous one would have been nice to see more of it though, iam one big fan have been since day one

  • I think its so slow cause warren cant keep up with Andys original tempo.

  • Long live duran duran !!!

    Miss Andy !!!

  • i love duran duran but its horrible to see them perform without the original five :(

its not quite the same, but there still brilliant though :)

    long live DD!!

  • As much as I like Roger Taylor on Drums, Steve Ferrone is an awesome Drummer!!

  • John Taylor et Simon lebon sont délicieux.

  • I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS SONG! ^^

    i have this dvd ^^

  • Hello fello New Religion lovers, i hear what ya sayin duncan & you may be right but back in Birmingham Arena(UK)87 on the Strange Behavior Tour those horns added an emence power & edge to the song as i think you can tell from certain band members faces. but the original still rules! Peace Yall

  • I don't like the horns with this song...they don't fit. The mood of this song is too "brooding" for horns. I know they were probably trying to give it more of a "Notorious" period feel, but it was pre-Notorious. Different period, different feel.

  • Right, I agree... and the tempo is too slow, you can hear John trying to push it at times. The backup singers are out of tune as well. Still love it tho!

  • "ou can hear John trying to push it at times."

I dont understand, what do you say?

  • NR is probably my all time favourite track. I agree it was darker and brooding and that is what I loved about it, but, I don't dislike this version. I appreciate when they rework a song to make it different in concert. I loved the horns on this tour. I do prefer the original though.

  • Warren Cuccurullo - great stuff !!!

  • yea, he pretty much kept dd moving during the 90s..

  • this is not rare. this video is from Working For The Skin Trade VHS Tape. watchit many times

  • they should so rerelease the rare dvds as well as pop trash..

  • @DuranieDude - I agree... they should put out Working for the Skin Trade, 6x3, the original video album that came out with the videos that arent anywhere else.... and put them on blu ray... see DD in hi def :)

  • Duran Duran is Roger, Andy, Simon, John,Nick... Anything in the band changes is not good, Andy Taylor is a great Guitar player who inspires the musik, he uses Hard.. Rock Patterns in Pop thats unebivable playing!!! So now something is missing in the Durani sound!I have heard the new album, and sorry folks thats not Duran Duran.... They have give us astronaut and some great live performances before ANDY leave, thanks for 1 year DURAN DUARN in original line !

  • Couldnt have said it better myself!

  • I am not so sure...I think that DD with Warren is also DD, just diferent but DD

  • Simon looks AWESOME!!!

  • I see the new stuff from Duran Duran, and my opinion is: duran duran with out warren and andy is crap!! is SHIT, RED Carpet Massacre is gonna be a piece of Big Shit people!!!, remark my words!!, is patetic the new duran musci with justin timberlake producer, is amediocre thing!! is sad see the ban sold his identity for the money and mediocrety!! , peace people!!

  • who cares what you think

  • What kind of stupid homophobic crap is that?

  • This was my favourite DD song. I remember trying to work out the two choruses which they sang at the same time, when I was a kid. Simon looks absolutely gorgeous on this video wow!

  • The Notorious album/Strange Behaviour tour was a great transition to the post Andy & Roger era. Although, times were great with the original five the white funk sound was a great addition. The SB tour was great with reworked songs like HLTW. The "snake-skin soul that Simon referred to comes clearly through Vertigo. The clips are clearly from, "Working for the Skin Trade" filmed in Brazil on the Strange Behaviour tour.

  • i love this version of this song. steve ferrone is an wonderful drummer. what happened to him after he stopped performing with the boys? anyone know?

  • @trishasmomma I agree, he is an exceptional drummer.

  • simon is never gonne change...he's still the best!!!

  • I love Duran Duran, i think Simon looks really cool in this video.

  • i love new religion and i love them

  • Yes Yes

  • nick's eye is so hypnotizing

  • SIMON LOOKS LIKE A PORNSTAR FROM THE 80s

  • hahaha funny!

  • sorry everyone but i hate this version of DD. Doesnt seem right with out Roger and Andy, anyone agree??

  • GREAT CONCERT

  • I wish they panned left more often! I don't need to see Warren...I NEED TO SEE JOHN IN ALL HIS YUMMYNESS! Oh, and on a side note I wish my ass looked as good in pants as Nicks!!! And I don't know if it's Lancome or Creme de le mar, but he hasn't aged in 20 years.

  • I actually think Nick looks better now than in the 80s. He had waaaay to much makeup on then.Simon-I LOVE YOU!!!

  • I like this performance.

  • X. You want to talk about our son, Ed R?

Sex? Oh, he's IMPOTENT. I don't care what he's triing to prove!

  • Definitely the Strange Behaviour tour. Saw them in 1987 and this was the setup. Great, great show!

  • Awesome!!!!...Im talking for Freeeeeeee

  • Biggest clue is warren on guitar

  • It was the "Strange Behaviour" tour and is featured on the video "Working For The Skin Trade" which was released in 1988. A great video which Istill love watching. Shame there are'nt many others on You Tube!!

  • You took the words right out of my mouth!.

  • This is most likely from the "Strange Behaviour" tour in 1987-1988. The star on the floor by Simon was from that tour....their hairstyles are "Notorious"-era and John's bass is definitely from that time period. Also, "Strange Behaviour" was the last time that they toured with a horn section...other than Andy Hamilton on occassion.

  • This isn't from 1982...I'd assume probably 1992.
