I doubt it's "his" garage. But more to the point - with the exception of perhaps provenance, the fact it's a replica has absolutely no bearing on my appreciation of an iconic car. Perhaps you should less concerned about his financial status and more on what a glory it is to behold any GT40, replica or original.

And I think you mean Ford GT Gulf "Heritage" edition, which is a completely different car. This is a Mk.I with a gulf livery, so your guess is only about 40 years off.
