Anyone going to watch this? The man in the video is a bad example of Vets. This whole show seemed to trash those of us who served. This is NORMAL since the network doesn't have any vets on their staff! We were spit at, couldn't get employment, College teachers trashed us in class and gave us bad grades. Nothing can make up for what we lost going to war. I drove a 20 year old car and lived by the tracks. THEY drive NEW SUV's and have their own house. You reporters/people suck!
The reception of soldiers during the Vietnam era was horrible. Most of the country these days support our sons and daughters in uniform reguardless of their stance on our military engagements. I think it is wonderfull that our veterans from Vietnam are also garnering some of the appreciation they deserve from the country they served.
Thank you for your kind comments. The TRUE fracts about vets are hidden deep in government red tape and lies. How do I know? I worked most of my life in government employment. I've talked to the above yahoo and the draft doger LAUGHED at me! WE have the highest rates of drinking, drugs, crimes, suicide, unemployment, divorce, mental health and death! WHO cares? NO ONE! The best way a vets has to show his pride is swallow the BS bend over and smile. Give us the money and return us to normal!
