Goku voice actually isn't that bad in this dub.

I actually like this voice for Goku.

It's more fitting to a musclehead like him, rather than that God awful, high pitched screaming Japanese voice or Sean Schemmel.

The only thing about this voice, is that it makes Goku sound smarter than his character is.

Aside from that, they should have employed this guy to voice Goku for the Kai series. He's the best fit for Goku yet.

His voice is cool and laid-back, but stern, which is exactly how you would imagine a tough-guy, family man to sound like.

Don't know too many family men who sound like 13 year old Japanese girls...

For some reason, this guy happens sound like Ian James Corlett and Sean Schemmel - almost melded together uniquely enough in other parts.

Honestly this dub has amazing examples of wasted potential. Most of the actors have good voices and can act but are put down by awful voice direction. The script needs to be reworked for that, but if they did it right this would be a great dub.

The funny thing is the script isn't even that bad (for this part as an example) for some parts but its all about the execution of the voice actors. Hell I could do a better Goku voice and Gohan voice at the same time while gargling water.

@40088922 Basically, it's a fanterm for a dub made by AB Groupe in the UK in the early/mid 90's for the DBZ movies, named for Piccolo's dub name in this dub, "Big Green."

Nooooo, nooooooo, nooooooo. This is not the Ocean dub. The Ocean dub is a separate dub with an English cast based in Canada. This dub is a dub that aired in England and the Netherlands (although only the movies were dubbed). It was commissioned by the AB Groupe, who owns the rights to "Dragon Ball" in France. It made many, very weird decisions...one of which was renaming Piccolo to "Big Green." So, the fan's unofficial name for this dub is "the Big Green dub."
