  • Elizabeth Cotton does not play it like this

  • Great, thanks! This is the best guitar teaching video in the net. Any chance you could be pursuaded to do one on Blue Moon?

  • Thank you so much!!! and also has anyone ever told you you look like Rodrigo from Rodrigo Y Gabriela?

  • Excellent teacher... thank you for you video..

  • Exclnt Asagtr...Very well done. Clear & concise. A bit fast for moire, but I believe I'll get it up to speed w/ a little practice. I've always liked this tune...Thanx!

  • good lesson dude

  • After this lesson, I doubt I can ever watch anything other than your lessons. Awesome work!

  • Excellent lesson man

  • wish all lessons on youtube would be like this.. very clear and easy to understand.. thnx

  • Excelent lesson!!! Very good design. Thanks

  • Great lesson & awesome playing! Thanks for posting.

  • A nice, detailed look at how to take a song, reduce it to the elements, and reassemble those elements into a performable piece of music.

I wish I could be so concise.

  • Nice work realy.

  • Thank You for a great lesson!

  • What video editing software are you using? It looks like Vegas Pro, but maybe Premiere Elements? Good job with timing your PIPs! Are you doing multiple recordings or using the "synch" in the editing software? Looks very professional. (Looks like youve lost weight since your old vids too! ha ha) Keep it up!

  • It's simply but not easy as are several things in life.

  • Thank you so much for the very well done lesson. Very clear and easy to understand.

  • Thanks for the great lesson)

  • its a more solid spanish version of eric bana!

  • Where can I get the whole tab?

  • This is a great lesson, thanx pal !! I noticed a mistake on the chord grids( the C/G) shows the INDEX finger on 6th string, and MIDDLE finger on the 4th string !! On the chart, but it SHOULD be MIDDLE finger on 6th string, and INDEX finger on 4th string !! I am a teacher so I caught it as I was writing the chord grids down !! Be careful to give out the right info so we all can learn from it !! PEACE & LOVE !!

  • The base is A-string then D and G string same time, and than low E. Repeat this again.

  • Who are these idiots trying to correct you wish they would go away and put a version up of there effort bet none of them can this is def a great lesson dude you are a good teacher go away weirdos

  • you are the man

  • You was crasy in the beginning! with the playing, I was having high volume to a video before then I started this video, I was very scared!

    YOU ARE CRASY MAN!

  • Great lesson!

But I think there's a typo for G7 chord - on 4th string actually F is played instead of tabbed G.

  • thanks heaps! easily the most accurate lesson of this song on the .

  • Verry usefull :-) Please do windy and warm from chet edkins or tommy emmanuel.. Because there isn't a desent lesson/tutorial on youtube.

    great job!!!!

  • i got those HS80's as well. good monitors... nice vid

  • Excellent video, thanks or posting it.

  • Oh and I forgot to add, I play this along with a piece taken from "Trambone" added in. When I've uploaded it I will most certainly credit you with teaching me the "Freight Train" part, and provide a link to this lesson.

  • Thx for this lesson. I can play it now though needs some practice. yes I too noticed one or two minor errors but it really doesn't matter. I think it's best to play it in your own style and "make it your own". You certainly provide enough information for us to do so and I went mostly by ear anyway. Many thanks for the lesson.

  • what ... was happening in 6:28 - 7:28 ? every time you played it was different and the tab didn't match... i'm confused

  • @NobleBg

It's the same. its not different I just explain in depth and in steps , so it might be hard to keep up, take your time with it.

  • @Asagtr Thnks for the reply!

6:33 6:39 6:54 these are the places you play 3 different versions of the first bar none of which match the tab fully (the 'pinches' are on different beats (on the tab the F is on 3 and a half)) .

you play the 6:54 version two more times after that so i guess that's what you meant.

    Anyways, thanks for the lesson.

  • @Asagtr

The diffrenece is that in tab the F note on high E string is in between plucking bass notes B and E (and actually it is) , but when explaining at 06:50, it's played _with E bass simultaneously_ instead

  • @Asagtr what guitar are u playing here?
