  • What great '70s flashback--I lived near Pellston Michigan in the mid 70s and always drove by the airport and saw the lone DC-9 sitting there. The arrival and departure of that blue and green duck was an event in the area. Then there was a small connecting lightplane to Mackinac Island. Thanks for finding and posting this cool film.

  • The DC-9 is one cool aircraft !

  • makes me wanna cry, seeing those DC-9's in their glory days. WONDERFUL VIDEO!!

  • I miss the years when glamour and good quality where the target of many companies, not he gangsta ripping off attitude of nowadays.

  • Such great stuff. :-)

  • Yeah!! My Dad's in there ;-) Sure brings back memories...

  • Wonderful to hear! :)

  • COOL!!!!!!

  • Weird to see Bldg C being used as something other than a big storage heap lol. That DC9 cabin trainer....ugh....still in Bldg F (new colors of course). I am pretty sure that is the one we did the tailcone exit drills on.

  • "GREAT" Video!! Some of those DC-9s are still flying today,& some are now painted in the DELTA colors...Great shots of the hangers & shops, brings back memories.....

  • @DC9RULES Yea man. Delta wants to keep the NWA DC-9-40 & 50 but wants to get rid of the series 30 & series 10. Yea, they are too old gas guzzlers

    Cheers
