  • Line of sight isn't main problem with this recording. It's the incessant heavy breathing on the audio. Next time, please place mic above the rhino, or blow torch them nose hairs. Something. Thank you.

  • i loved this song when i was 17 its amazing i always remembered the words.I am 55 now

  • Wierd...You must have sitting near near us that night as we were there. He's amazing. I'm a musician and do alot of his great music.

  • I love this song!

  • Came across copy of, SAY WHAT, blew me away!!! J.W. Keep on Keeping on.

  • i love how that song is changed from "your memory is enough for me" to "your memory will have to do for me" not sure it's improved, becase, how to you improve on perfection? huh?

  • try the best slovenian remake gorska roža

  • I still have this record. WoW, Jesse's voice is sweeter than ever!!!

    Thanks for the great vid!

  • Man, have the years ever been kind to his voice !! Almost even a bit better, which is saying a lot. Fine aged wine or whiskey. Must have never been a smoker.

  • Did Jesse or Tim Hardin write this one ? I saw Jesse about 5 or 6 hundred years ago in Edmonton. I wish he'd make it to Canada more often.

  • Jesse has a 1970 copyright on the lyrics.

  • @emmylunatic Brewer and Shipley did a great take on it.

  • @emmylunatic absolutely classic Jesse Winchester song

  • Jesse did and he moved there right after the first album as a Viet Nam war draft protester.

  • Dear fellow lunatics,

THank you again for this! I have listened over and over; probably four thousand of those views up there. ;) Headed to California...to see Jesse next week!

I will think of you! ~NAncy

  • Let him feel the love ; his schedule has him up the tracks at the next station in November and we're tickled to death. Have an earth quakin' good time out there.

  • great video...next time "dope-slap" that person in front, please

  • Sorry to clone your comment, Emmylunatic.

  • It's ok, actually pretty obvious when you hear them now. Jesse has a brand new cd and some shows scheduled in the US and Canada, but not enough of them. The club in his present hometown has just gone under with Jesse on the schedule for May 9, ouch.

  • I've been a fan for over 20 years,I'll look for his album, thanks for your great Verlon such too. I am lucky to have had the chance to see him live several times, but it is nice to have the video clips!

  • His voice is much more subtle and the feel of the song much deeper that the original lp version. Joni's voice has become smokier and more heartfelt too.

  • Time for another thank-you for this. I appreciate it more than I can say.

    xo ~NAncy

  • canada is the better for

    jesse

    and many other americans

who came here in the 60s

  • We all need all the smiles we can get.

  • Outstanding. Saw him a few weeks ago (we sat about 4 ft. away) and this brings the show right back to me. Thank you for posting this. It makes me smile.

  • Brilliant, pity the ******* in front couldn't sit still!

  • Thank you so much for sharing... Jesse is the man, always has been in these eyes of mine...

  • Doesn't he just get better and better... Sincere thanks again my friends for this gift. Can't thank you enough...

  • ...and better and better and better with the elegance and grace of the years.....there isn't anything in the world i could've come home tonight that would have been better than this share...thank you way much Nancy Nightengale

  • My great pleasure to share Jesse's music with friends! I'm so happy it made you smile!

I know you love him too.
