well I guess I will be so busy shaking hands with friends in hell that I wont have time to care...lol heaven sounds boring anyway and I hate the color white (and white people for that matter). thats why I'm not catholic because I don't believe in monsters.
@mclovin046 Heaven is not about the color white. It's about finally getting to be with our Creator. A Creator whose imagination is so spectacular that this world is a moving piece of art unequaled by any thought man has ever had. Heaven, since it won't be tainted with sin or the products of it will be beyond anything we can imagine. To limit it to the color of white, as many movies made by man have done, only goes to show how inept our ideas are compared to our Creator's.
It is so interesting to me that people who post mean, insulting derogatory language to others on here are the ones who claim not to be Christian. Is that a witness for Christ right there? I challenge you all to examine the postings on other sites too. Look at the way people who claim to be atheists treat others. Look at the way they talk to me on here.
@Ginasong maybe its because as atheists we r sick and tired of religion ruling the world, i was a quiet non believer for a long time and what sent me over the edge was a youtube clip in which a guy exclaims "im voting bible" it was at that moment i realized that religious people need to wake up and stop making the normal people suffer because of their stupidity. that and u religious types are so ez to troll its almost a crime. fyi most intelligent people are atheists.
@kbforme Jesus said that the road is narrow and only few would find Him. Finding Jesus doesn't have to do with intelligence. You can be intelligent and go to Hell anyway. You can have a heart to seek the face of Your Creator and go to heaven even if you have a lower IQ. That's one of the things so wonderful about God. Serving Him does not take money or high intelligence-- just a believing, repentant, willing heart. Sadly, many atheists, even intelligent ones do not have those characteristics.
It must be convenient to forget what you said about radical "Christians" not representing Christianity when you try to attack Islam based on radicals of that faith. I fail to see the difference between Westboro Baptist Church and those extremists that misrepresent Islam. Anyway, you clearly don't know or completely ignore how many Jews and Muslims die every year in holy wars when you say "It is the Christians ... giving their lives for what they believe."
@fashnek A radical Christian is different than a radical Muslim for this reason:Being a Christian means the Holy Spirit is living within your heart. The Holy Spirit comes from God. Because Jesus became the atonement for the sins of the world, we are allowed through Him to come to God. The Holy Spirit cleanses us and changes us from the inside out. The more Christ-like we become, the more we are able to channel the love of God. Therefore, becoming more radical means being more Christ-like.
You know, the Bible does say that in the end days there will be a great falling away. I'm sorry that my care and concern for you annoys you but I believe one day you will regret not listening.
@Ginasong it's funny that you backed up your statement about Christianity being the only way to God by citing the bible itself. Seems as if you've never heard of circular logic
@Ginasong it's funny that you backed up your statement that Christianity is the only way to God by citing the bible itself. Seems as if you've never heard of circular logic
@MrLannderson Circular logic is a type of logic. It is not a pronouncement about whether it is correct to use it or not. In some cases it is not. The reason being is this: If the Bible is truly the Word of God then it can be used as a foundational support for theological truths. If it is not then it would be incorrect to use the Bible to support absolute truth. One day, you will see that my use of circular logic was the correct thing to do in this case.
@Ginasong ah well unfortunately the term "circular logic" is actually derogatory in that it's classified as a form of fallacy. We'll see about whether you're right but I'm pretty sure that if there is a God then he does not want us to live our lives in fear. AKA your video is just more fear-based drivel, something the world doesn't need more of
@Ginasong Um circular logic is not defined as a type of logic, it's a term used to criticize people's lack of evidence and the fact that they are trying to prove something by using the thing they are trying to prove as a form of evidence to prove their thesis etc
Your fear mongering is pretty distasteful and exemplifies many of the greatest problems that society has today. Honestly if you have any shame you should take this video down. But hey, free speech right? I guess that's the price we pay
@MrLannderson No. I went to a Christian concert last night. People were there with their children worshipping God. There was a sweet atmosphere and though there are unbelievers or immature Christians in every crowd,
the crowd was not passing joints or getting in fights and I didn't hear one curse word the whole time I was there. You live how you want to live. It is not my views that are what's wrong with the world, as you stated. It's clear even in those posts.
@Ginasong sounds like a snore-fest....Christian rock sucks. All they do is replace the word "baby" with "jesus" in every song. maybe you should smoke a joint so you can see through the bullshit.
@mclovin046 As a songwriter, I know that writing songs is about having something to say and you're only limited by your ability. I've heard songs in every genre that reflected great talent. It didn't have to be a particular type of music I liked. As a songwriter, I know that any type of music has good and bad songwriting. So, your opinion of Christian songwriting could not possibly be accurate unless all Christian song writers were not good writers which would be ridiculous to say.
@mclovin046 I found out many many moons ago that smoking pot did not increase my awareness. I know what it does. Seeing through things comes with clarity of mind not a "buzz" that lets you block out the real world. The problem with pot is that it keeps a person from growing. If you smoke it to feel better, you have not learned to cope and bring good to your life without bringing another substance into it to give yourself something extra. To me, that's boring.
@Ginasong No you imbecile, circular reasoning is a form of logical fallacy, not a 'type of logic'. "The Bible is the word of God > Because the bible tells me so > The bible is infallible" proves nothing and is not any sort of conclusion...it is as much a truth as if I wrote on a napkin that I am the master of the universe
@Ginasong It doesn't matter what you 'believe', it is a logical fallacy because of the way you reached the conclusion. You can 'believe' anything you like, but that doesn't make it at all factual or logical.
@Alien5p You're right. Believing does not make it so. I believe because it is so. According to man's logic, circular reasoning is a type of fallacy in logic. However, if that reasoning is based upon a truth that is indeed truth, then man cannot use his own logic to claim the truth was gained by fallacy when in fact it was built upon an absolute truth--a truth that superscedes man's logic.
That was the biggest bunch of nonsense I've ever seen.

@fashnek It is not a matter of comparing two equal things. An extremist who kills is not the same as someone who is extreme in their ability to love.
