You could go topless as you are legally reconisied as a male still Thus you would fall under the male legal standards. But in that you represent as a female(name, hair, boobs, etc), that may override the legal question as you have committed yourself to being female. You'd end up in a big "moral"/perception battle that probably wouldn't change any minds or laws.

If your legally Male then there is little they can do as the law for males being topless says you can be. some states or cities do allow women to be topless as in New York. The only possible thing I can think of the prude police dding is getting you on a public disturbance. Then again if they do that why dont they arrest every baby born into this world naked? PRUDES! Obviously, laws vary from place to place. In New York, it is, in fact, legal for a woman to go "topfree" in any situation where a male is allowed to do so. Surprisingly few women take advantage of this, however.
Don"t know the law in your jurisdiction, but my guess would be that you could be charged with creating a public disturbance ( whether or not anyone is actually disturbed by your toplessness) .
Very much an illustration of the double standard inherent in the law .

When you use your girl voice, you actually LOOK more girly - in fact, you look undeniably female when you use your girl voice. And then when you use your male voice, I find that you LOOK male. I'm not a lawyer, but in the state of North Carolina, the appeals courts said men and women alike can be in public topless. You just can't show a minor a photograph of the same exposed female breasts.
As for YouTube, try it. We'll like it even if they take it down. ;)

I remember watching the man show way way back when it had started and there was a man, who in order to win a $10,000 bet got breast implants for 6 months (ended up keeping them longer I believe) And when they had him take his top off... I remember that they did NOT censor his man boobs. Legally I would say go for it, but do you really want people to knowingly perceive you as male with man boobs, or a woman with nice breasts?

Despite what many think, you could in Kansas. Our state laws only prohibit
"publicly exposing a sex organ or exposing a sex organ in the presence of a person who is not the spouse of the offender and who has not consented thereto, with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desires of the offender or another."
This actually came up in my home town, when neighbors complained about a woman topless in her hot tub. Cops told them it wasn't illegal.
Weird, considering how conservative Kansas is.

I would have to agree with Tabygrl, i tested that argument in Long Beach CA in 1984...i got a ticket for indecent exposure... although 5-0 knew, no one else knew what i was...it was hilarious!!! Months later they had a group of visiting cops from Japan or China..cant remember now and they made me whip then out and show them to those visitors....no ticket or arrest then....those bastards!! LOL!

Since legally you are a man I don't see why not but now that your more feminine feature are apparent, there is still a chance you may be charged for indecent exposure. In the end, I don't think it would be a good idea since you would be giving off a bad image for TS.

technically you can go topless. At least some of the pre-op TS's in NYC did during the pride parade.
HOWEVER, it sets a bad example for us all to do such a thing as most people will see that as a sexual thing, and lewd.
You will also likely be arrested as you are just THAT passable and they wont believe you when you say you are legally male, maybe even if you use your male voice...
I have seen some STRANGE things happen in the realm of TS...

Even if a card says you are male you still have a womens body now.
They really should change the law though so that when a MTF takes hormones and their body becomes a woman body, they are then classed automatically as a women if they are topless.
You have a womens body now and you are a women inside so you just as well obey the laws for women on being topless.

A man's chest is not seen as a sexual object/feature like womens breasts are.
This is why people are fine and ok with a man being topless.
Now if you are a MTF person and take hormones then of course your body will grow breasts and so you are then put into the women section of issues.

A naked person is normally always seen as something which you only see when you have sex with said person or you are looking at porn...etc.

That is correct, some people don't want to see it. This is not a good reason to ban it. If you don't want to see naked bodies, well, I'm sorry. Close your eyes then, or hide under your bed. If person A doesn't want to see person B doing something, that is not a good reason for person B to be forbidden from doing it. If that was the case, nobody would be allowed to see anything.
Children can handle boobs. I promise. They are quite fine with it. No children have ever been harmed by seeing boobs.

Yeah i'm afraid that i know for sure that it is against the law. If you portray yourself as a women in public and you remove your top, you can get taken to jail. It happens a lot at mardi gras. Drag quens and transvestites come out and show their chest and get arrested or fined. Sometimes though you get a warning. But there should not even be a law for women, if men can do the same thing.

as for the topless idea though it is true we are male on our licenses they tend to give you a ticket for indecentcy if you go around without SOMETHING covering the nipples. if you want to get away with it take and invest in little pasties to cover the nipples then technically your topless but still within the decency laws.

I live in NY. Here, both women and men are allowed to go topless! Technically, I don't think you'd be breaking any laws where you live, but you'd get a lot of flack for it. You'd probably have to talk to police officers every time you appeared in public topless.

I once did a transformation video, i was gonna post it but chickened out. I went from female in appearance to male by removing my wig, makeup and the tape that made my cleavage.
It seems to be the sort of subject that confuses the hell out of most people, lol..to go from legal to non legal by removing a piece of tape...obviously your situation is more real than that(great boobs by the way)...but yeah, it is a head scratcher!

Where I live you could be arrested and fined under public nuisance laws. I have a friend from Idaho who's drivers licence reads female however Idaho will not allow gender change on birth certificates. So she is planning on getting as many trans woman together that have obvious breasts and who's birth certificates read male from all over the world to come sit on the State capitol steps in protest.

I actually did that in Texas last year during Dallas Pride Fest. The consequence of that being, the cops came over and politely asked me, "ma'am, would you please put your top back on?" I then proceeded argue that this was a protest, given the fact that I had heard that transgendered women had been harassed before for their gender identity. I also declared that, given my gender marker, it ought to be legal. They still addressed me as "ma'am" and begged me to comply. I was drunk, just FYI.
